renald, 02 Mar 2013808 or n8 which 1 2 choose?can we upgrade d n8 to belle re... moreHey, belle refesh is for first generation s^3 devices only, so yes, n8 as it. 808 is at belle fp2 version also known as Donna. Now, n8 as a great camera but 808 has a better one, and i don't think this would be a surprise...:). 808 is faster in every way then n8 but belle fp2 has some things that people don't like. You can search internet to find out the downside of fp2. But, if you buy it with fp1 and you don't like the looks of fp2 you don't have to upgrade. But once upgraded, there is no way to downgrade. N8 has a better design for me, but 808 is not ugly either, when you touch it, feels different then what you see in videos. It is also the same with n8. N8 in a matter of what was in 2010 is a master piece. But 808 is more powerful then it. I would sugest you to go for 808. But if you like smaller an thinner, n8 is a good choice to.

guyz....now i m using nokia n8 and my sis will use galaxy y...comparing those phone galxy became android technology and becomes symbian...why people like android mobs?....because more apps and games included in android os...
most of the androind phones are slow because android is the best catcher of viruses...some apps get damage the phone...and android is the charge eating os ....anyways i found that n8 becomes the best phone...i like the symbian os...it is user friendly and much more.. n8 carry the best camera quality comparing samsung phones...samsung will distributes 8mp 12 mp but mp is only in name...no use...i like n8 very much...ummmmwah :)

Its a Superb phone i ever had till now,Nokia N8,best camera,good battery backup,easy to handle and much more........

buy n8 SM corp.... I recently bought it ....amazing phn, 808 is nt cmfrtable to hold or pocket that bulge is odd n weirdly uncmfrtable..n8 camera is really rocking

wen i planned to buy a new phone (n8) i did luk at other phones (androids) bt i got so confused ,imean wen u see abdroid problems ,people are alwz talkin abt giving this link or that link plz....ram is not enuf..... this so n so game cnt b played n u cnt store apps on sd card n so on .... Plz plz someone give us link for this n link for that.... I thot symbians were alwz so cmfrtable n still are what is the need atleast for me (m nt into gaming n all) to get so messed by choosing android n waiting for links n upgrades... N8 rocks n guys dnt blame nokias for low ram n processors ,symbian works fine with that much of ram android needs more ram to run all those things..

As for symbian belle/nokia belle... of course is the same:). Nokia bought Symbian in 2008 so they could name it what so ever. So, yes, it is still Symbian just had it's name changed. This could have been a good strategy when belle was first release, but now, i don't see the point in renaming it, anymore...

I also have Nokia DC-16 external battery (2100 mA) so that I can charge my mobile after its charge comes to 10% when I am outside.
If the battery capacity is increased, it will become impossible to charge with Nokia DC-16 !!!.
I feel no difference between Nokia belle and Symbian o/s. Same text size, same options. I think since Symbian is opensource, Nokia has changed the o/s name (like we can customize the LINUX o/s in case of PC).

Amaaaaazing cam... moreYap, thats right as the previous friend told, N8 was the 1st touchscreen phone i've bought, still using it, after N958g with buttons. After 1-2 weeks i got familiar with the touchscreen, it helps a lot also the alphanumeric keyboard...no problem

hey friends i jst got one n8 for myself ... Amaaaaazing camera n a very nice feel ,m a simple guy needed a simple phone ,i alwz used symbians only so it feels gud to me ,jst used sammy ace once i wznt cmfrtable wid it so sold it... So writing this msg from my nokia c6 as m not vry cmfrtable to write on the touch screen of n8(thats the only problem) bt n8 is a great benchmark phone... Enjoying it ...n yes plz nokia continue wid symbian 60 series... I love it

... moreI think you got me wrong, of course the n8 doesn't have 3000mA batteey, it has only 1200mA
. I said that n8 should have a bigger battery (3000mA), so to be a fair comparision between 1280 and it. Now, i really think that in the battery pack of the n8, could be staffed another 300mA so to have 1500mA. This wouldn't make the battery way bigger so it will fit the case with no problems. Now, about symbian, yes nokia should still produce it. But maybe windows is more cheeper to use then symbian:(. If hou like android and yoi want dedicated cameea button, you can try sony z, but after i saw the pics, it's 13 megapixels are no way near the n8:))

I think N8-00 does not have 3000 mA battery.
It is because of the good handsets by Nokia that I didn't sell the previous handsets.
Nokia must continue making SYMBIAN mobiles with good configurations as none of the samsung phones have a DEDICATED CAMERA KEY with which one can use autofocus to predict whether a picture will be clear or not. In samsung, it can be said only after taking the picture.
