I preordered this phone on Aug. 20th but I have not had any email when it will be realaesed and Im from the USA.. But hopefully sooon.......

[deleted post]iPhone and Blackberry and even Android are well made phones. So people here like the N8 which is also a well made phone. Open your eyes... we all also travel all over the world whooaaa.
Enjoy while travelling, phones are just instruments.

Nokia is full of shit in releasing phones. When the Nokia 95 was released 3 years ago it was delayed also.... SOOO sad But I still want this phone :-)

N8 plays up to 320kbps like iphone.
I also think the sound quality depends on both the headphones and the audio chip. It has to be good on both aspects for it to play best.

I probably won't, I listen to music always with my laptops default speakers, thus usually I don't even hear a bass, so no matter what device/headphone combo I use, the quality is like "omgwtf" :D
But thanks for your input, as said i'm definitely not a hifi guy myself.

You won't get decent sound from HTC hero even if u use 500pounds headphones. I am professional sound engineer. Iphone by today standard has best audio output. It is crisp and clear
