All the other phones on the Market are ... moreThe lagging in the early proto videos isn't due to the RAM, but lack of optimization. If you look for newer videos you'll see how much it has improved. I used one like week ago and it was NOTHING like in the older videos on youtube posted by Nokia.
I think Nokia should take those videos out cos it's bad advertisement, cos the phone doesn't really run that well in them.
But that problem is long gone now.

anyway it isn't. the video's of the N8 lagging are video's of preproduction prototypes. Check out the latest video's and be surprised ;)

N8 is a sick phone
All the other phones on the Market are having
512 MB RAM and 256 RAM was on the phones long time ago
Unless they improve RAM phones would be lagging
N8 lagged even in demo videos

But really, why put in a more powerful CPU than you really need? Especially when the biggest effect it has is a negative one to the battery life.

I have this model, it has been released in the US. Best phone ever made... far better than any Blackberry or the iPhone 4.
