as you know iphone4 and samsung wave use 1Ghz processors and both have the best battery life.
this issue with nokia phones will be fixed by the introduction of meego.

The N8 have 1Ghz CPU!
But its only underclocket @680Mhz to save accu!

It is a pity... moreIf the phone freezes, you hold the power button for 8 seconds which equals taking the battery out. Just like holding a computers powee button like 6 seconds if you get a hard freeze.
The N8 does not need a 1Ghz processor. Symbian^3 runs with less and theres no point putting in a 1Ghz processor just for the fun of it. It adds up to battery consumption and then you end up having a batterylife of the EVO 4G, and that's certainly something I do not appreciate in my MOBILE PHONE.

Nokia Has Planned To Release N9... moreYou have any source for that? Personally though, I'd rather get the N8 than the N9 if the rumors for example here on GSMArena are true. I do not want a qwerty keyboard myself.
Not to mention the N9 hasn't even been officially published yet, so I think it's abit early to speak "truths" here about when it will be released.

It is a pity that the N8 does not have a 1 GHz processor; the iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy S are out already and have blazing processors.

Forgot to mention this... when I called to pre-order my N8 (1 day after pre-order availability), the Nokia USA call center told me they had already sold 300 in USA for pre-order.
