2008 oct nok 5800 after two years 2010 N8 no difference in size 360+640 but not 48+84 like samsung n900 only/ what is usb on the go support?

The N8 really needs to be very revolutionary to get into the current fight. Right now it all about the apps and what the phone can do. No one write apps for Symbian anymore, and unless the N8 can grab a lot of people from the grips of Android and iPhone, they will not write apps for Symbian. This phone should have been released late last year or early this year, but it is schedule to come out late this year. Meanwhile other manufactures are locked in a flagship arms race, and dropping new phone by the month. I've seen the videos, the S^3 interface doesn't look that promising...and if this phone turns out to be another flop, it could be the end for Nokia in the high end smartphone game. They do however rule the world in the cheap smart-feature phone race, it seems like that is the main focus, and if thats it then that's what they do, but high end phones is looking like something they did years ago and not something they do now or in the future.

iphone4 user will run applications.
n8 user will turn on the 12mp camera.
wave user will just turn on the super amoled screen!!!!
please don't comment back on me before checking super amoled screen in person not through your laptop

[deleted post]only losers insult the others when they don't have what to say,I didn't said that I prefer watching HD videos on a phone screen than a HD tv screen ,I have an HD tv + dvd plyer + laptop support HDMI,but sometimes I stay in places other than home with no TV to connect my phone with ,in these situations "human beings" used to watch movies on their phones screens and I am doing so since my nokia 6600 with its only 2,1" screen and today new technologies are available and the best is the super amoled screens for that purpose ,and I have chosen samsung wave over the galaxy because 3,3" screen is more than enough for me,and for the applications i am still using my windows mobile that i might change it with an iphone,n8 is a great phone and i think it will be one of the top five smart phones but for me it can't be number 1 entertainment smartphone.

this is the bestest fone ever in the fucki_ universal my man,i have 2 of it,one for summer and winter..summer is for making kas kas for ice for my mix mix and winetr its showtime...

I am not sure of N8, but overall quality of Nokia is extremely bad. Specially N96 one of the worst mobile. I will never suggest or go for Nokia anymore. All 5 Nokia I purchased till now are failure.

i dnt think there is any fone yet in the market that can beat N8 yet...in hardware and looks..and Nokia N8 is cmg in 5 colors..tat shows how nokia cares about wat people want...samsung putting 1 ghz proceesor..with stupid 5 mega camera with no flash...and still their fone hangs and message cme memory low...hahaaha...samsung is only good at making dispalys..shld stick to them....

N8 beating iphone4, i m really enjoying using this mobile phone very good touch screen better than iphone 4 , really u people will also like this mobile

I was just thinking..... The amount of samsung wave and 1ghz obsesd geeks lecturing everyday on this forum on how the n8 is outdated, what would happen if you bought the n8 and were using it in public and one of these geeks sees you and starts lecturing you about your n8... Im reluctant to buy the n8 because of this!
