How to use tamil language in this N8. Is this smartphone. I am really tired of searching for the solution to install tamil language(Keyboard layout to message and to read message in tamil). even I tried some translate softwares that too didn't work. Help me please...I purchased this for Rs.18000, my friend purchased micromax, at Rs.4000 and he could easily do that.

Start dukto on both, pres or touch middle icon to see what is ip adress on each device. Then go to option ip connection send data to other device

Same thing happend with my N8..
I had given it to nokia care and they cleaned the lens of Camera...now working perfectly...
its just because of Dust particle on the camera lens

Hi guys/ n lovely gals :)

I live in islamabad, Since last 20 days im searching for an ANDRIOD phone with similar cam, like N8. I saw (xperia S) which is also 12MP, and i can also run Offline MyTrails maps on it,. The photo seems perfect on the phone screen but when i compare them in detail on my COMPUTER or TV screen, they are SO SO, as compared to N8. and there is BIG difference in prices of N8 and xperia S. Got N8 for 12000 Rs, and xperia S is around 27000 Rs. But I don't mind spending much if I find all required qualities in 1 phone.

desperately waiting for an answer in my mail (hr underscore atrecruiters at yahu dot com) :)))))))))

Plz tel me which phone has, (ANDROID, GPS, 12MP CAM & XENON FLASH) all things in 1 phone?

If you change the memory card, just copy all the folders (including hidden and system) in the source memory card to a hard disk. Then copy the files back to the new memory card. Most of the applications will work normally or we just need to overwrite the installation by selecting memory card as the destination. Thats all. All the settings of the softwares will remain as before !!!

Before I used to install in the mass memory. If I give the phone for firmware re-installation, at that time I think that all softwares are installed in memory card and everything is gone. Thats the reason.

I use mass memory to temporarily to record long camera videos during travel if memory card becomes full.

That too if I want to transfer the files in mass memory to PC, I have to connect data cable which leads to battery getting charged in the middle itself. I normally charge the battery at 10% or 8%. If I use bluetooth explorer to copy, it takes 15 minutes to copy 80 MB file.

Auto charging via USB is a greatest disadvantage in all the phones that support this feature.

David, 03 Jan 2013Hello..I got this mobile from US..And the FW version is sho... moreThat means that your product code is not updated... Maybe you will receive this updates later. If not, then maybe you have a product external device that will be unlikely to be updated very soon. Product externals are normally used for the shelf, so Nokia does not bother to much with their updates. You can use phoenix to flash and navifirm to download the latest firmware. If you don't know much, please refer to my earlier post on Phoenix and Navifirm. You will have allot to learn. So NO LAZY:P

Maybe there is just a dirt on the camera lenses, but if you are no geek in disassembling mobile phones then is better to take it IN, for it to be cleaned or what others needs to be done. Sorry

Anyway, there are ucplayers unsigned out there, so i can take you only to an unsigned version. If you don't have your phone hacked, it wont work. To hack it, please search Google. Second, learn some zip and rar stuff, it is quite easy, so stop being lazy. Is not like everyday will be somebody helping you with those. So, to hack your phone you will need to know some rar archive stuff, so to extract the necessary files. And nobody can help you with that. LEARN. But i always had one in my older phones and always occur this behavior (which i say it is totaly normal...). So in my n70 there were apps working only after restart and there was a game or 2 working without that. My 5230 was the same. At the end i think is all about how your apps interact with your phone and vice versa. I can still say that you have no real problem. Maybe just a memcard full format to see if everything goes back to normal.:)

I m still unable..installed ducktu on phone & laptop..and they both says insert ip address...
Plz sugest how to transfer....
