If you have 2 short cables and that's it, then it is clear you don't have the cable used to transfer files from phone to pc. It is longer, like 1 meter or something. You can still transfer files via bluetooth or w-LAN network if you have WI-fi at home. There are good network apps: myExplorer is one of them! So, one of the 2 cables is a HDMI port and the other is for USB OTG (on the Go).

If you try to install cracked apps or unsigned ones, it is normal you cannot do that. You need to hack your system. To update it's firmware is another thing. So, be more specific...

I've used my N8 since October 2010, and I don't wanna trade it with other. So entertaining, especially when you have unlimited internet services.

If you get this cable, you will able to connect your phone with computer. Once computer detect the phone, it will show the phone as mass usb device as well as portable media player under my computer. You will be able to brows your phone content.

I cannot work out how to get my photos of my N8 and onto the computer, i think there must be a cable missing, but i have located the box and 2 small cables but can't work them out.. what do i do now?

me, 29 Dec 2012Exactlyyyyyyyyyy!!! I tried ARC S, GALAXY 3, for camera not... moreme, I also look for xperia arc s, galaxy s and nokia 701. No one has camera similar to n8. I buy n8 for its exceptional camera and usb otg feature.
