The N8 looks slow,and not as snappy even compared to early proto NexusOne videos, the GPU can only help so much,get off the tests and face reality.

Plz guys dont compare n8 with wave or iphone4.N8 is far bettr than the two.Nokia we r with u nevr lets down our hopes.Nokia rocks!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently the 'finestfones' peeps have performed some benchmark
tests on the N8 . No questions. n8 is fast. Yes. It has FM radio with FM transmitters. The first flash 4 . Yes videos can be streamed . Big videos just like a pc. Thanks N-standard Wi-Fi which is next generation wifi faster than any other phone.without laggy. Connect to HD Tv while browsing. Wow.

lonely cent, 07 Aug 2010you can use SPB shell that is much more beautiful than andr... moreactually samsung wave was first phone to have wifi n and bt3. but n8 is more than a phone. its a digicam, a gps navigater, a decent blue ray/dvd player (thanks to usb otg, hdmi with surround sound), tv on your pocket (web tv), mini computer ( thanks to usb otg, bluetooth keyboard and mouse support) , your own fm radio station ( thanks to fm transmitter) and much much more!

you can use SPB shell that is much more beautiful than android and iphone OSs. For your information nokia will use meego harmattan which is more beautiful than meego on other handsets. N8 is symbian 3, therefore QT written applications can support and millions of high end apps and games will come in a near future. who the hell did say N8 is laggy, no it is not. experiance from hands on preview we see there is no laggy running 15 apps at the same time. thanks to N8 GPU and 680 mhz processor.
n8 is cheap compare to its nearest rivals.it has the first bluetooth 3 in a mobile,first n-standard Wi-Fi(it's the fastest in a smartphone), nHD screen size which is perfect for HDMI support, 12mp Xenon flesh wide angle and largest image sensor in a smartphone (with carl zeiss lens the phone can produce much more clear picture and video than any other phone)(hello samsung wav),first Dolby Digital plus sound in a smart phone. Tel me, can u see them from any other phone). first multi touch in Nokia, first AMOLED capacitive touch screen in Nokia, first wireless mouse support in a smartphone, QT written applications supported.full flash 4.0 supported in the web browser,first USB on the go Wow now i can connect it to my 250GB hard disk and copy and paste the files easily with out a pc and ofcourse it will save time.. i've already given up waiting on this phone a month ago, i bought a wave, honestly i don't think N8 can match up the graphic capabilities and UI responsiveness of the Wave,

what i want to hear from nokia about n8 is
is there nokia internet radio?
Is the flash lite4 capable of viewing online streaming video at site like megavideo, and playing flash games in web browser?
Is the flick scroll as smooth as iphone?

i wish nokia n8 screen size could hav been 4.0 inch as that of sony x10.X10 sleek sexy design confused me in selecting wch phone to buy...
feature wise n8 stands in pole position without doubt...

samsung wave with highest and blowing n8 with 1614 ! and with my WAVE it went upto 1660 ..

samsung wave is the clear winner in ol acpects !! only camera is good in n8 that too only still pics but video 720p IS same in both but in reviews i like wave's HD recording more !! god bless N8..

Very nice,attractive design ! I like edges on the both ends ! It would b nice to hold it in landscape mode :)

Symbian3 isnt launched yet so how can it b outdated ? :D ! 680mhz (default 720,can b overclocked to 850) + powerful brodcom GPU itz enough! 256mb ram is enough to handle 6to8 applications! Symbian is an open source !most popular! Best multitasking! N8 is most beautiful phone! 5 lovely colours,so sweet !

n8 is well balanced phone with outdated screen resolution,outdated os,outdated processor,and outdated ram,add to that ugly design (looks like shaving machine),projecting camera,with heavy weight.
and don't forget no torch,no video light(12mp will not help at night),and all these missing features come with high price!?!
