I have a Satio, is a greta phone. camera interface is good too but WAAAAAAY TOOOOOO SLOOOOOOW i mean ui and time-to-shoot even if you change focus from auto to infinity. better music player also..
U might forgive all that i mention above, but batt life SUX, and thats the one reason i gave this phone to my wife.

If Samsung makes a wave version of Pixon12 with 3.5mm jack and fm transmitter I would get that instead.
I like N8, but with that 3 year old music player with no "one click" shuffle and repeat, crappy camera interface, no radio recorder or built in trackid for FM radio + no led flash for video recording (and torch). Its easier for Samsung to make the kind of phone that I want...

I'm a bit sceptical about the price... Maybe sellers are overcharging because of the hype created on the web. There was a similar situation regarding the Samsung Wave. Before it was released in India, sellers on ebay.in sold some of them for as high as 29,000INR but soon after the release, the price dropped dramatically and now it can be bought for as low as 17,000INR.
it's always better to wait a few weeks after the release to get an idea of the actual price.

N8 is priced at around 420 GBP when it'll hit stores in the UK by the end of August. basically, around 30+K Php in the Philippines.

the guys who ask about the prossecor
it's 750 clocked down to 680
and it can easily clocked up to 800-850
and it doesn't need more than the 680
symbian 3 is like windows xp not hunger for power
and also symbian^3 got a new ram manegment so it wouldn't need any ram power either
don't compare it to another mobile about the hardware
cause the os got it's needs.

Nokia today in London had a N8 Development Launch,showing off the intersurface of the Symbian3 software an loads of N8s in the Room,what i have read from people who were there,they were really amazed how faster an Simple the N8 was to use,So hope by the end of August we do finally get the N8,o.k Nokia were under loads of pressure with the N8 after the N97 not a good competitor with Android or iPhone software,so did not want to release the N8 till it was fully up to date an ready for release,but another thing Nokia have got to stop doing is letting people knowing of the future mobiles they are going to release,as Elgar on mobile-review.com had the N8 prototype in April an downgraded the N8 before it was even released,that Why? Nokia is taking that long to release the N8 to Shut Elgar Up!but its been annoying waiting for the N8 Now

a lot of comments posted but I will wait till I finally try and test this "amazing phone" so to speak. There will always be an advantages & disadvantages of every phones in the market. So let's just be opened to that. Marketing people in Nokia and other brands have made their strategy to market the products. We cannot expect a perfect phone that has all the features rather appreciate what the RD Dept did to let the end users like and dislike. If this phone really amazing then let's see by hand and criticize after.... PEACE to all.

I was just prowling through the Wave forum when I ... moreI was getting impatient and thought of trying out the Wave because of the wide publicity it has received....Thanx heavens that I didnt buy one. I was utterly disappointed with it......the phone boasts of hardware power and speed but it showed memory error when I tried to zoom a photo....and the message showed on the screen to shut down the applications i.e. the camera application and the homescreen....it was hard to digest and surprising....I will certainly check the phone at some other store just to confirm....but for now, I cant trust it anymore
