Anonymous, 29 Jul 2010Samsung Galaxy S, Phone, HTC Desire all have fast CPU of 1G... moreyou know that the symbian devices don't eat too much CPU and RAM like ANDROID and WINDOWS mobile
so this cpu whit openGL 2 gpu is quite enough
528 MHZ of symbian=800 MHZ of android=1.2 GHZ of windows mobile

Please have a look at the linked benchmark:

                  http://www.glbenchmark.com/compare.jsp?benchmark=glpro11&showhide=true&D1=Nokia%20N8&D2=Apple%20iPhone%204&D3=Samsung%20SGH-T959%20Vibrant&D4=HTC%20Evo%204G

As you can see, even with the "slow" processor, it still can play with the best of them. (Check both of the GPU skinning lines). In the most important aspects of this test, the N8 wins. It wins against the top smartphones from other companies. Even with a much slower CPU. This means, better battery life, more performance, and a very efficient S^3 OS. Dont forget, the N8 is cheaper than the other phones in the comparison, and it is not even a flagship device.

                  :)

Hi Niraj: do you think about 3 concept phone of Nokia newest. One same N8, one same X6 and one same E63.

Those of you worrying about the N8 being out of date by time its released and that other phones release at the same time or shortly after will have a better spec,

...should remember that most of us when getting a new phone are tied into an 18-24 month contract anyway so having a phone that has not got the latest tech is inevitable no matter what phone you get. For example everyone waiting for this phone must be using and older phone! I myself am still using my N95 8bg and it works fine -like it did when I first bought it and was happy with it. Surely the N8 will be even better so its no risk as far as I'm concerned

You just need to choose a phone that you will be happy with for the duration of your contract not necessarily the newest tech phone.

For me I know I could very easily be happy with having an N8 for 18 months despite what might or might not be out later.
