andyburgin, 29 Jul 2010JUst shows the Nokia are losing it in the mobile market if ... moreif nokia delayed the release of the n8 till September it will be in a big trouble,because it is a long period and in this period samsung ,SE,and htc would announce new phones with newer specifications that the n8 will become outdated compared to them,not to mention that some of n8 specifications are already can be considered outdated.

I saw several people have posted news and links regarding 'Pre-Ordering' Nokia N8... As far as I know, Nokia Original web site doesn't mention anything about such a 'Pre-Ordering' procedure.. In its History, Nokia has never taken money from people before handing the mobile phone to the market...
So these 'Pre-Ordering' is offered by 3rd party people and we don't know who they are really...
I know you guys always trust Nokia... (Just like I do...)
But you don't have to trust these 'Pre-Ordering' offers as they are not really from Nokia.. (and I'm pretty sure, Nokia will not do such a thing...)
So please wait until Nokia launches our wonderful N8 mobile... and then just go to a trusted shop and buy it... Don't let some 3rd party people to cheat on you/ make fun out of you.. just because you're waiting for Nokia N8 so badly...!
Note: I'm not pointing finger at the friends who post the news and links about 'Pre-Ordering' because they also may not know what they're doing...
Just be patient until Nokia does it... (I'm pretty sure we will not face any problem of 'Lack of N8' on market.. NO... I don't think so...)

680 mhz is enough for mid end phone, if you compare this phone with galaxy s or iphone 4 its unfair cos both are high end phone.

JUst shows the Nokia are losing it in the mobile market if the N8 is not released while the end of September-October,just Why?did Nokia announce the N8 to Early if the Mobile was not even ready to Produced,o.k they might have thought it might dint the Sales of the new iPhone4,but it will be 3 months after the release of the new iPhone4 we finally do see the N8,we got loads of videos showing off the N8,but now its not showing any of the new software,Nokia will be on to Ruin if its Fails like the N97,an how long will it be taken Nokia to produce its first Meego mobile,as with xmas not far away the best time to release the new Meego phone but Knowing Nokia it will the 1st Quarter of 2011 to late again,as thats all we are getting at Nokia nowdays

Ali Abdulla, 29 Jul 2010i love the idea of a projector, however apart from it being... moreuhm, open thinking, im sure there must be a GPU, 720mhz isnt enough to record smooth HD i guess, especially at 30fps... im lazy to google atm, but im sure it should be there..

its pointless unless u can insert a "video" in to it, for example , connect your PlayStation/wii etc. also usb otg, that would of been a win, i mean wats the point of being portable if you cant do that? too bad indeed
also processor and rams not good enough for android... and unlike N8 it dosnt have a GPU not to mention lack of Xenon..
i like the screen tho, funny how it looks 10 times better than the projection :(

2-lower cpu/gpu performance i guess
3-no xenon
4- havent confirmed, but im sure camera dosnt match N8
5- no HD out
6- no camera cover(or scratch resistance), same with projector
7- no usb otg
8- no ovi maps
9- no gorilla glass(didnt confirm tho)
10- dosnt support universal networks(penta)
11- no class 33 edge
12- no dobly 5.1
13- no digital compass?
13 is ma lucky number, so i guess thats enough :D,anyhow, all those are small stuff, and the beam got some nice goodies too, like screen and battery, still tho, the fail of the projector is the main issue, if it had video in, then i might really think it over, "intensively"

im in doubt, specs of n8 or htc desire with sense ui. its really hard to choose between hardware features and android with eye candy ui

the processor speed shou... moresure dont you think amd pheonom or core i7 3.2ghz with six cores shud have been in this phone with ati radeon hd5470 for graphics and 3tb hardisk from seagate and shud run on windows 7 ?????????????????????????????????????????

yeah.... really excellent... n8 ll kill samsung wave. 12 mp cam n xenon flash, fm transmeter amazing nokia.. friends better to go for this instead of samsung wave

assassins creed2 3d hd, starcraft2 mobile war (with the graphics as much like the PC vers.), Iphone emulator, PS3 emulator, mobile photoshop, adope CS Mobile, legend of Zelda:ganondorf return mage(rpg)....... Are they coming for real for n8?

Mark, 28 Jul 2010For domphua: Yes it is that strong. Mind you that hummin... more25fps is the European standard. 30 is the American. It has something to do with the frequency of the electricity network. (50Hz Europe vs. 60 in the States) Nokia previously went for the American standard of 30fps but the American market has dropped a lot. Now they are concentrating on the European, hence 25fps. Don't worry. You won't see a difference though. Nokia should have never bothered with the American shit. Now you can play the video without any conversions on any PAL system. How nice :-)
