Please don't comment about Macs, not interested in Mac/PC wars.
That counts this phone out, along with all other Nokia's and the iphone4 of course.
So leaves me with the HTC or the i9000 Galaxy S.
Can't quite understand a large company like Nokia not having the software to deal with this problem.
Can't afford to update via the phone, toooooooooo expensive here (N.Z).

There is actually no official statement from Nokia about the delay yet.
The expected release date stated by GSM Arena is following the date put up by some online pre-order shop i think
So tentatively i will still hope that Nokia release it by August.

In term of camera, N8 have a larger sensor.
Overall, N8 is a smartphone and Pixon 12 is a feature phone. Which mean N8 have more apps.

The N5800, X6, N900 are the best Music phone thus far. What with amplified stereo loudspeakers although N900 isn't technically a Music phone solely, but rather multimedia tablet. Cindy the piece crap you call the iphone 4 (sorry to diss) has one mono loudspeaker, no HD dac, the other a mic. The N8 is also mono but I know it's amplified plus the DOLBY 5.1 HD dac! There is no reason why mono should sound bad if it's got above mentioned advantages & good soft drivers, since all past & present tvs, radio, etc have used standard nicam carrier mono signal. Stereo is only based on two spatial nicam source mono analogue signals. I hope it's def good speaker with some amplification to drive some freq bass, fuller bodied sound,not tinny like the N97 & the iphone 4. Ha!

I have an imac, and it's one thing that will stop me from buying another Nokia is the fact that I couldn't download software from the computer, then put it onto the phone cause there was no compatibility. I wouldn't download direct from phone cause it's waaay too expensive here. Nokia need to get their act together...

all iphones(for all i know), have one mono loud speaker, and its not amplified(like N8) or anything.. and so, lower in sound and quality
i've own a 5800, and its loud speakers are pretty satisfying, a 100 times better than that of my current E72(which is closer to Iphone than 5800)

Are you getting all defensive because I dissed that "CHEAP" 5800 loser phone? The iphone 4 has SUPERB audio quality, I don't care what nonsence that review said,my Iphone 4 is LOUD. Hopefully the N8 will set standards. I cant wait for the next X-series device!
