october for release date is too late. This phone had to be released before the summer. Samsung will bring super amoled 12 MP camera phones. C'mon nokia I have never used another brand and I don't want to use from now on.

this phone has two faults
1- battery not easily swapable
2- no stereo speakers

I think this is the benchmark for mobile phones especially the HDMI interface input its gonna give the rivals a lot of homework. Everything about this handset has been put the max from the 12MP cameara, to the 16GB internal memory not to mention the expandable 32GB card slot. If ever you want a phone to keep for a long time i recommend this phone as you wont get rid of it for years if you take good care of it.
I take my hat off to Nokia on such a beautiful creation and i hope there is more to come.

I hope this phone will not be as bad as n97.when u watch video w/t n97 ,u feel dizzy viewing. hope n8 not cause will be paying much in its initial release. how much do you think it will cost here in the philippines, this n8

I Hope, the Nokia N8 doesnt`t dissapoint its owners as N97 did. The Lens`s cover scratch the lens. The flash saturate the pics, N97 crahs(tilts) too often
I hope... N8 would be much better than N97. Nokia should test it verywell before launch it. I burned buying N97 so... i`m not Nokia customer anymore

where in that do you see "panorama"?
im pretty sure it should be mentioned there if the phone supports it..
