Of couse it isn't true. Are you dumb? Where did you get this information that N8's non removable battery will be dead after 500 recharges. Well that isn't true!
@ XLong. Get out of here kidoo. N8 has a fantastic design. It has the single main button compared to Iphone's main button which is like a cent. Certainly, Iphone has no passion for designing thier phones. N8 has the most comfortable camera key for the fabulous 12 MP with xenon flash.
To thos who are worrying about N8's body. Well, haven't yo read the specs? It has an anodized aluminum casing. It is scratch-resistant. Nokia make durable products. For example, the N97s. I liked their body. I'm not sure if its metal but I can feel the solidity.
N8 has the EDGE and GPRS Class 33 which makes it fastest in the world. N8 also has Flash Lite v.4.0 First in the world.

I read somewhere that the battery on this one is not removable. So after say 500 recharges, the battery is permanently dead? Is that true? The x6 and 5800 are much better then.

Some people argue that symbian doesnot need arm cortex a8, how does samsung omnia hd perform in term of speed and battery power

3MR, 17 Jul 2010what is the best this phone or Iphone4 ?Phones really depend on your own taste. However, you can read reviews that GSMArena puts in after N8 has been released in the market. After that you can compare and contrast the phones and see what you might find fit, and what is more compatible to you. Until the N8 is released there is no point in asking which one is better because, no one besides some lucky people that got the prototype has had experience with the N8.
I am personally leaning towards getting an N8 because i Love taking pictures and i don't want to carry around a BIG BULKY DSLR camera every moment. I am using a LG renoir rite now and the picture quality on the phone is unbelievable, and hoping that Carl Zeiss lens from the N8 will give me the same quality.

3MR, 17 Jul 2010what is the best this phone or Iphone4 ?Buy n8 it has 5band 3g network means its signal will be strong. We dont have to return it back because of sucking antenna like iphone 4.

[deleted post]Nokia N8 is a great phone! 12mp camera which is being tuned to rival compact digital cameras [not camera phones]... This phone, just like the Samsung OmniaHD was built mainly for multimedia purposes along with decent social networking capabilities.... it not designed to be a blackberry which is crippled without the RIM data service or an Iphone which is actually worst than a blackberry since its crippled without the combination of its apps and a data service [neither makes sense without the other].... where as with nokia phones... its a phone before anything else... but yet still manages to stand out! A data plan isnt a must have with a nokia nor is having a million and one useless apps... thats why the give us great cameras and other media features to keep us entertained.... Apple brags the simplest OS to date but lacks the simplest of features to date... i stick with Nokia cuz the only thing an Iphone is good for is gaming period... its not loud, it doesnt have a gr8 camera, it doesnt have the best display, it doesnt hav a memory card slot n it lacks basic features, without all those features even the simplest OS seems unattractive!!
