[deleted post]U may say symbian slow but this is s3 ,ok ,worlds most efficient OS. Lets take ur wave n a fon with that equal hardware of ur wave but with S3 OS installed, and compare their perfomances. What would u say with that. Put ur wave on ur forehead ,get a huge hammer n destroy it. If u r hurt then thats ur fault that u bought it. My middle finger is up at u, get lost, this is our forum.

i have nokia 5230 symbian os is all rounder found many apps from ovi store,fun apps from beta labs but this handsets is awesome waiting for after nokia n8 i will go for meego all i want is pocket laptop powered by intel(meego)

Wave,galaxy n ip4 user r jealous of n8. They r doing there job, i mean they r making vote down. But none of them can beat n8. Its dame true. they cant change my love. cumon n8 lovers its time 4 the revenge, we can mak our voting up n their voting down. 4rm now i ll vote 10 10 10 for n8 n 1 1 1 for them.

Now Symbian 3 and after few Months Symbian 4 !
That not worth to buy this phone !
Better i wait a bit and get my Symbian 4 Device and im happy as to have the n8 which will be crap after symbian 4 release....

N8 will be released in Asia Pacific region end of July to mid August at the price of around USD 350. In India it will be released around end of August to mid September at the price of around USD 450. Its tough but its a fact that Indian fans will have to pay USD 100 more to get N8 as demand is very high and so are the taxes on luxury products.

Anybody could write symbian apps but the process of registering them was cumbersome. Thats why you don't have too many apps on the ovistore. There are tens of thousands of other appstores scattered all over the internet from which you can download almost any app you can think of. The only thing is you may have to sign these apps yourself before they install. Although the signing process is easy, many people don't know how.
Anyway, all this would definitely change. Nokia is the worlds largest manufacturer, i'm 100% sure that by this time next year, there would be more apps written in qt than available for the android platform.
