People, don't fool yourself. Symbian is the most used mobile operating system. In fact is the second most used operating system ever made! Only windows beats it and not by much! Indeed Nokia have decided to use MeGoo in there future N-series. However this is not the end for Symbian. And not at all! Symbian will outsell MeGoo by at least 10:1 Nobody question that. Further, it may very well be that Nokia will use Symbian-4 in other top end devices aimed at the 'general' public and priced accordingly. Is not like N-series dropping symbian. Is more like Symbian going up a notch in hardware demands. Don't be surprised to see a X12 cell with a 12mp camera, 3xoptical, hidef video (1080p@30fps) using the mighty OMAP 4430 dualcore (cortex9 ! ! !) at 1Gig. Nevertheless, the N8 is THE cell to have for 2010 - symbian or not :-)

I wonder if i buy this phone, since for N series.. This phone's the last using S^3 that means for N series there's no S^3 or S^4 for this series..
But i like meego OS like N9 preview later.. Hope nokia produce better phone with meego..

Nokia just announce N8 will be the last N-Series with Symbian ! After it will use Meego. Symbian^3 already abandonned before launch

i just kan wait for meego.but if its done by nokia its sure to be the best.i mean they sure learned a lot by usig the best OS thill date(symbian)and please dont come here and write nonsens like iOS and android is better because its simpli not because of theyr lame features.just want to give you 2 examples and make your decissions.iOS no multitasking and that is a basic for a OS.and andoit just enabled graphic equilizer and i hadd that thing on my nokia 7 years ago on my 6230.i think that sayes about everything.the symbian is only very lame looking compared to the other.but if you want a more pc like experiens and more pc like features the symbian has it

Eldar's review is funny. All of his actual review is positive, and then the conclusion is negative. If you rewrite the conclusion to fit the review, its actually very positive of the N8.

Wow..I must get this..I have never been this impressed my entire life. This is even better than some PCs I know. How much will it cost by release time? Was planning to get Nokia E72 after I lost my E71, but I have totally changed my mind I want this.
I mean 12MP camera and I can connect to my LCD TV using HDMI. Divx/Xvid/Mp4. This is what I am all about. I can work and Play more at the same time.
By the way I'm commenting from Kenya, Africa, I hope it only gets to us sooner rather than later. Leme stop there...
