who cares about apps..
they are just meant for passing your time.
those apps which are really required by the user are available in the nokia store.
just i miss one thing is the video call app like Gtalk or any free video chat app for symbian. otherwise everything is available.
the most reliable os ever. at least the device runs smooth. not like android that every phone keeps on hanging.
symbian will have a history for ever.
windows is good but many improvements are required. will take almost a year to have complete requirements of a user.
and one think nokia cannot continue with two oses at a time coz it has agreement with MS for further continuation.

nokia should keep the quality, design, unique design, hardware and into slim phones. and there was OS called Symbian and java instead nokia. also it need apps and games. now, i think that nokia should do the WindowsPhone 8 OS for lumia series for high-end phones. and also nokia please keep Symbian OS for medium up to high-end phones. and keep S40 for low-end phones. i like touch screen phone but its boring and same design! nokia do not have to following into touch screen phones. but touch screen phones is ok for wp 8 with lumia series and symbian^3 and belle.

somebody please tell me. Why do some people want to downgrade frome nokia belle to nokia anna? There is something wrong? Should i do the upgrade from anna to belle or not? And i have planty of games and apps what will happen with them ?will i lose them or not

The Symbian fan! All what Nokia needs to do, is to release a dual-core with 2200 mA battery and will be enough. Nokia didn't do that by now cause of windows. I'm still waiting Nokia to reconsider abandoning Symbian. It is still one of the most stable mobile systems out there. Also, with the new Donna interface... oiii. Imagine an 808 dual-core, running with Firefox browser. Who needs apps? I need a good phone, not apps. And until now? Nokia is a good phone. Dual is just an upgrade for eye taking, and also for introducing Symbian in the market again. I, my self, don't think Symbian will go forever... Symbian has more hidden sources then any other operating system, just needs to unleash them... But now, Nokia can do something in background. WP keeps Symbian place for a while... i don't know for how long, but i think symbian will come back. Anyway, now it is called Nokia Belle, not symbian.

Symbian Carla and Donna were code names for Belle FP1 and FP2. The more recent Symbian phones, like the 808 Pureview run on FP1 and FP2. The N8 and all other first generation Symbian ^3 phones cannot be updated to FP1 or FP2.

Symbian is still owned by Accenture until at least 2016. What Accenture do with Symbian after that date is anyones guess. My thoughts are that they will just bin it and shut it down completely because by that time there won't be any room in the smartphone market for it because iOS, Android and possibly Windows Phone OS (too early to tell if WPOS will be a success or not yet) will be the main OS's that people will be using.

I can't see Jolla being that much of a success to be honest and will only appeal to a small group of people.

We need to know that symbian s^3 supports multicore cpu's, more ram and powerfull displays and video chip. So until now, the power of s^3 has not been seen. Maybe will be seen in near future. The only problem will be the store. Almost all apps will be useless with such an upgrade. So symbian will need to bring it's developers back. So we can help them, by buying the apps. Aso by buyng their apps we will bring new games to our current phones. But who does that?

the best phone ever made by Nokia.... Although it lack with RAM, but still consider the best multimedia phone, it can play all type of video files(mkv, flv, mp4, 3gp, avi, and wmv), without using any specific apps.... I don't think android can play such this video.... By the way, it's 12mp HD camera are far superior than any android phone... How about that, nokia-haters?

like ex nokians who developed Nokia N9 founded jolla to continue meego. Why the people who were working on symbian cant start a company to develop symbian. once symbian was king of os. popularity of Symbian was only the reason nokia rejected the offer from Google to adopt android. then why the people at nokia is not doing anything to develop symbian. meego people are trying to develop it why symbian developers are sitting calm. symbian rulled the smartphone market 4 abt 4 yrs no1 was even closer to it. symbian lovers spread this as much as u can. so that it reaches to the developers of symbian at nokia. i have 2 Phone 1 is nokia n8 belle Lasted update or 2 is my samsung galaxy s gt 19000

so the problem is same nokia n8 speed like 20kbps+ in my Uc browser and same as Pc when im connect my Nokia N8 thought Nokia Suit its Become or Slow Just 20- kbps Im shocked

and i also Try my same 3G sim in my Galaxy S its Speed 150+kbps In pc+mobile Uc browser

so whats the problem man I m Shocked Nokia N8 is to bad for me now any Suggestion or any help plz -angry-

nokia N8 is my primary Mobile so Plz Help me I dont wanna Use The N8 Anymore ....!!!!
