Nokia have put so mush effort on this phone
but there is one thing they underestimate
the first imporession of the new os, the ugly graphics design and ugly icons, these trivial stuff, attractive and good looking theme and icons should be there out of the box, dont expect useers to change it. The looks of the new os turn many people off. I am not saying the os is bad, i think the os is great

i hope someone in Nokia has some common sense to actually have them pre-installed. It's embarrassing to have a high end Nokia phone and then reach for a series 40 Nokia to do the stopwatch :/

Bingo, 02 Jun 2010Too bad it is Symbian. Old OS, not designed for touchscreen... moreLol i agree. I like Android better, like the new one 2.2 used in Google Nexus 1. It's like windows compared to the Symbian which is more like a small toy, same applies to the iPhone......They don't even have the basic help procedure like "error reporting"...i have allot of problems with this symbians...they suck in quality..Nokia cannot develop good graphics for symbians men including games and apps.....You know when they get like paid to buy such expensive phones, the price goes down quickly...What a beneifit nokia makes...sooner or later Nokia will just discontinue this phones....what a great profit....

the n8 has great specs compared to its declared price. .
the wave you are talking about has a very very new OS which no one knows about yet. . no apps. . BAD samsung support. . i bet it will hang 10000 times once u start operating it. . it's still brand new and needs much improvement before i can trust it and buy it. .
but the symbian is a nice, well polished OS. . with the new improvements for the touch screens. . and super perfect support (ovi maps and ovi stuff) and 10000000 apps available . . is more stable and it's worth my trust. .
in the end i don't want to convince u to buy the device!! if u don't like it why are you on this page??
i am sure samsung or sony ericsson paid u to come here and curse the N8 in front of millions of unexperienced ppl who are reading this in order to keep them away from the device. .
listen. . the vivaz and satio will NEVER be able to beat N8 with its destructive specs and low price and super perfect support by nokia and the nice new well-polished OS. .
u don't want to buy the device then get out of this page and let ppl talk logically about the device and point LOGICALLY its good and bad things. .
i am a 5800 user and i will buy N8 once it hits the shelves :D:D:D

The first phone wich have 3.0 blutheet i nokia. Itz make more profit 2 nokia. So many options i on n8 like usb, 3.0 blue, html ,etc.

I am a loyal Nokia user and i trust them.
only thing which came in my mind other than a Nokia
is iPhone.
but i am not going for this because in India its 150% costlier than in US
