Come on.. Get a Android device. Symbian is out. Android is the future. If n8 runs Android 2.2, with snapdragon, I will most definitely get it. I am tired of symbian because i am currently using n97 and i plan on getting an Andriod device. 12mp is useless. A phone camera would just be used when u dont have a camera with u. 5mp will be more than enough. U wan a good quality photos, get a slr. Phone cameras r dust compared to a real, good slr. also, wireless AP router is a very good idea, but , still, the majority of people would be using FM transmitters more often :)

Hello, I am deciding on a phone, I like the specs of the Nokia n8, but I live in Toronto, so it will never be released here that fast. I am not biased towards cellphone brands. I have used se x10, iphone 3gs, and bold 9700. I liked iphone for the apps and games. I liked x10 because of the style and bold for its full keypad. I find the dimensions on the x10 too big, so I dont like that and I dont like bold for web browsing. I find apple iphone to be the most user friendly device out of all these phones, but I dont like the specs of the iphone as compared to nokia n8. I looked at the youtube vids posted and like multi tasking from n8 and love the camera specs. Honestly, this nokia n8 has awesome specs, it can be used on all bands that is good for travelling. I just wish nokia has better eye candy(user inteface looks ugly). Some of the colours of nokia n8 look ugly, but I am still waiting to get this phone because of hw specs, but if a a better phone will come out soon then I will get that instead of n8.

tom tom tom..... Ur gone man ... Android need snapdragon .... Symbian dont .... And say x10 use less .... 8mag cam ... Led flash ... And time scape to laugh at ....
4 inch screen but use less have 65k colour displ .... Through that crap and grab a N8 .... U will not need to cry at orther forums ....

If SE produce another android phone, X10 will be forgotten even if it have life time support.
X10 user may sell X10 to but SE New Android Phone.
Thats the way of life, ppl will buy new ver and forget the old version.
Unless you want to keep you X10(android 1.6) for future value(antic items).

if i want 12mp with 720p video rec. i get N8.

if i want capacitive touch screen i get X6 or N8.
if i want business phone i get n72.
if i want low budget XM with touch i get 5800 or 5235.
if i want multi feat. phone at lowest price i get C5.
if i want ovi maps i need nokia phones.
My point is nokia is full of choice and value for money.
U can easily change your phone if nokia produce a new better phone. Who needs a phone that have lifetime support when the phone can die before you did. If the phone have lifetime warranty it's a different story.

Here is a good example on someone tha... moreur really funny man....wait until n8 gets launched. u gonna sit in the corner nd mock at urself...i dn't understand wat ur trying to prove...n900 with 600mhz processor is a fast device..n8 with 680mhz nd that too with symbian^3 gonna rock. x10 would have rocked if it had android 2.2 or atleast 2.1 nw...anyways if ur x10 is really good yy it is getting all the bashing even motorola milestone is considered better than it. y nokia n8 is hit on every mobile website. Seems u cn't take n8 beating x10...enjoy man. carry on with ur argument bt u not gonna be successful. tc

The Nokia N8 would also be a killer phone if it would have a replaceable battery with 1500-1800 mAh battery.

Only Nokia fanboys will say that.
Now, i'm not saying the N900 is bad either, because i have already said it many times that the Nokia N900 is a good phone.
If Nokia N8 could have had a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU with the same GPU it have now. a 4 inch screen with 480x854 in resolution, 512 MB RAM and running Maemo 5, then this phone would be a killer phone, and i would consider it over the XPERIA X10. Also i would wait for this phone instead of buying the XPERIA X10.
But i'll guess Nokia didn't want me to buy the Nokia N8 phone, because i'm a person that cares about having a really fast OS / phone with future proof hardware that can run many many new OS'es in the future without worrying about that the CPU might be to poor to run any other OS'es for example. And because N8 is running a poor OS for me when it's released.

Just why would Nokia want to install Android on their phones and lose revenue? Symbian and Maemo/Meego work just fine. Markets in the developing world love Nokia and symbian, and they still have a lot of room for growth there.
