Anonymous, 30 May 2010The greatest multimedia device? With no divx playback? No divx playback right out of the box to be more specific because there are hundreds of third party players native to symbian format capable of playing divx.
Other option being they can be easily converted to any compatible format using Nokias very own PC suite for its devices. Not to mention, there are lot of video converters softwarers available to do the job.

Anonymous, 30 May 2010The greatest multimedia device? With no divx playback?I have asked that question to Damian Denning. He says that they cant tell us in this stage.
And also open your eyes. Divx player can be easily installed on this phone. Really you guys post comment but dont use your brain. Further more Nokia Pc suit also allows to contest the videos to any format.

Anonymous, 30 May 2010you be real! N8 is nothing special! Did you see other dev... moreYou more seems to be Samsung fan. I have seen the video and only the device lag when applying a 12mp photo as a wallpaper. First find a 12 mp photo and apply it as a wallpaper on your current phone and then see how much your device will lag.. This device deserves 9.2

Anonymous, 30 May 20101. Another device that is believed will be announced in the... morenHD in 4" and just 1200 mAh battery for a business phone. Plus e7 also got a qwerty keyboard. 1200 mAh is not sufficient for E7. E7 with all these specifications will be fail and Nokia will lose more market share..

[deleted post]i think that wont work anymore. people would be rating high & gsmarena would be rating low. they are technically able, they can register 1000s of votes in few hours. thats what happened just now. its all being done by gsmarena, none other can do that..

1. Another device that is believed will be announced in the very near future from Nokia is a new powerful Eseries smartphone running Symbian^3.
2. The E7-00 is also using the new Nokia naming convention. It reflects the high-end Eseries and could be the new communicator to replace the old E90.
3. As this is a business oriented device targeted to business customers, the hardware and software will also focus on the enterprice market.
4. Among others, the specification is :
- hybrid design (touchscreen and QWERTY)
- 4 rows QWERTY keyboard
- 4 inch AMOLED capacitive tilting touchscreen supporting multitouch and gestures
- (maybe) using snapdragon processor
- 256 MB of RAM
- 1024 MB of ROM
- 16 GB of internal storage
- microSD slot
- 3.5 mm audio jack
- 8 megapixel camera with LED flash (no Xenon, no Carl Zeiss optic)
- HD video recording
- No HDMI output
- Microsoft Office Communicator Suite included
- Symbian^3 goodness
- availability in August or September
- super thin at only around 13.8mm
- anodised aluminium body
- 1200 mAH unremovable built-in battery
- same design philosophy as the N-800
5. If it’s true, then it will be the first Eseries to use touchscreen. All other Eseries in history never used touchscreen (E50, E61, E70, E61i, E62, E65, E71, E66, E90, E63, E75, E52, E55, E72.
6. The photo of E7-00 was leaked since early 2010 but many people believed it to be one of the Nseries because of it’s similarities to the N97. Infact, many believed the photo is the N98. If you look at the photo closely, you will see “N00″ printed next to the “Options” softkey.
7. In the photo, the green colour suggests only one thing – concept stage. In the old days, I remember seeing photos of a green Psion Series 5 codenamed Protea and when it went into production, it’s not green.
8. Seriously, the specification made me drool and thinking about that 4 inch screen made me excited even more because t would also be a very capable multimedia companion. Movies and videos will look gorgeous on that screen!
10. Well, we have to wait for the announcement to be sure of it’s real specifications. Bring it on Nokia!!!
