Yes you are, but i think that Cortex A8 is so power hungry, and hence, it's useless.
Even if they made all good in the new Symbian^3, it just need a medium speed processor in order to work properly.

i am teenegar who uses the net and multimedia functions a lot,and n8 seems to fall in place.is it wise to choose it over nokia n900?

KID, 20 May 2010you call yourself a nokia fan but you dont know that this p... moresorry typing error....but there is no doubt that s^3 is not as well develop as the others....i dont think it is worth to take the risk using s^3 in n8 after tried n97 that is quite a sucks fon.....

sea-breeze, 20 May 2010i doubt the speed of the processor and gpu i had n97 and wa... moreok, first, N97 doesnt have a GPU, second, this N8 have a higher clock speed than N97 and probably a different series of ARM 11 (better), third, looks like the new Symbian^3 OS is working on GPU, so this phone is gonna be fast, since this phone use a broadcom GPU in it.
And of course, the last one, N97 is a fail, I personally think that N97 is a fail. It's crazy you know, Nokia release it with a high price while it has the same spec as 5800?? what was that?? the only different is bigger screen (though it has the same res), the internal memory, camera, and a qwerty keyboard, and that's all, but with so much different in price?? what was that????
I mean, c'mon, N97 is basically the same phone as 5800, just with a little cosmetic here and there.

i doubt the speed of the processor and gpu i had n97 and was lazy as hell ! now i use pixon12 and samsung jet very fast processing power very very fast indeed
so after all nokia returned to xenon ! after all the 3rd generation sh*t and bla bla bla of the n86
wish they dont put the same rigid camera button of the n86

everything is nice but the os......the os is abit lame.....s60 is not as well develop as other competitor....haiz....i wish i can buy a nokia fon and then change to other os...that woud be much more better.....

i remember when n97 ios annoiunced, the netizen bash nokia fpor not putting 12mp xenon flash, so liittle ram and no gpu . And slow cpu

6 months of waiting time, software bugs all over, resistive sceen, no multitouch
