You just showing yourselves up talking about slow C.P.U...The cpu is really the last component in a smartfone to show how fast the o/s will operate..With nokias customised optimisation of symbian 3 and better amount of RAM the proccessor will be fine..What are you wanting 1GHz for please enlighten us..

Nokia needs to wake up to the game. This is half a step in the right direction; having hopefully a stable OS and the hardware to do pretty much anything. But Nokia, being Nokia, will probably release it with a lot of bugs and take 2 years to fix them. I have had my N97 for 7 months, I think it has gotten worse, the only good thing they added was kinetic scrolling, but the phone should of had this in the first place. Symbian should be pushed into mid-low range phones, and once release, MeeGo should be in mid-high end phones. Hopefully this MeeGo OS turns out as promising as it lets out to be. Having both Intel and Nokia behind a Linux OS could only be a good thing. They just have to entice developers. I'm one person who is gonna wait and see how MeeGo plays out, as Maemo 5 already looks pretty good. WTF is with everyone bashing each other... iphone this, android that, nokia sucks at this, windows mobile is better at... Honestly, who cares? We are all allowed to pick a phone that we think is nice and different from others; we're not a flock a sheep...

Furthermore this one has a brand new symbian operating system specifically developed for touchscreen devices, and is said to be very good.
The FM transmitter is very usefull as well.
Taking under consideration that it will be significantly cheaper than the i9000 (370 as opposed to 600) I think we are facing a winner here.
