It seems like no one noticed , but the N8 is the first phone to combine HD Video recording with a 12MP camere

I'm from Ecuador and like to use the devices nokia.. I wait more of this Smarphone like.. a ram of 512, a optical zoom, a processor of 1 Ghz like other marks and a memory of 32 o 60 gygabytes

There are n0 issue 0n the 1200mah batt because it is using AM0LED DISPLAY w/c saves energy thats why it can extend its battery life. The pr0cess0r is g0od en0ugh even th0ugh its n0t 1ghz snapdrag0n. At least its way better than 5800, n97 and others. The camera is und0ubtedly much better than first 12mp sh0oters 0ut there. And the price als0 is m0re aff0rdable c0mpared t0 sati0 and pix0n when it came 0ut.

i have spoken to o2 today about when i can get hold of a nokia n8 and was told they should have some in on the 26th of july if it doesn't get put back again so i'll be counting down the days till i can get my hands on 1 of these phones

Impressive phone... would have really loved if it came out with a better processor with Maemo 6/ meego OS than symbian ^3... Right now, I love my N900 and it is the best... Can't wait for the N900 meego successor from Nokia...

prashanth, 28 Apr 2010im sure this phone is gonna be an iphone killer..the specs ... moreiphone killer ..what the heck?..iphones arent feature packed enuf to compare with nokia phones.i used both iphone 3g and 3gs.big leap with video rec in 3gs...but then no led flash for camera...sheesh that truly sucks.its like iphone has got night blidness.its high time steve jobs start making a NOKIA KILLER.

small battery 1200 mha like n86. N86 have 2.6 inch and N8 3.5 inch .Not good

small procesor, nokia what are you doing the c5 for china have 600 mhz procesor running s60 v3 fp2 and n8 running symbian^3 have 680 mhz procesor, i think it's wrong.

This phone is great!! I am in the U.S. It can enter either AT&T or T-mobile 3.5G network!! I have been looking for this long time. And the best is, it's from Nokia!!!!!

It is very funny to see that many ppl giving comments on this phone comparing it wid i-phone 3GS , SE Satio/experia , Samsung galaxy etc. But how many of them really used those phones personally is a real doubt. It's very easy to comment just by reading phone spec on website. A phone on paper and a phone on hand can be hugely different!
And most importantly let this phone come to consumer market and after that write ur hands-on-review specially on symbian^3 OS which many ppl hates knowing nothing about it at all!

Hi,after reading ur post just wanted to tell I purchased my first ever sony eric, so excited yesterday, not very much today, I can't transfer any pics or files music from my current n97 to the x10i?????
I guess I should be happy spending $820! but a little disappointed today, let me know if anyone knows how to transfer music.
Btw, I'll be sticking with nokia now, first time a different cell in 5 years.
