high specs + high price = nobody buys
low price + low specs = nobody buys
what nokia does is find a perfect balance like they did with 5800. this phone will be legendary like the 5800 is/will be.
go ahead and complain about the shortcomings of this phone but remember they found the price/specs balance to justify the design. if you don't like it spend your money somewhere else.

hopefully s^3 is efficient enough with 680 mhz and 256mb ram.. or else, the same tragedy will occur like n97 was..

Also, I think that the SoC used in this device is the newer Qualcomm MSM 7x30 ones.

There is no other device that looks exactly like that, as there is no other "candybar" device that looks like it. Compare the N8 to the iPhone 1st gen, and then to other devices. You will see that the resemblance is that of the first gen iPhone. Of course, not saying that all phones are clones of the iPhone, just saying that it looks like it haha

If you want HD video go buy a HD camcorder, if you want decent pictures buy a decent DSLR or compact.
This is a damned phone which will come with a lousy operating system (Symbian), which Nokia use because Nokia own it, therefore no licensing costs to pay, so it's better than cheap, it's free to them.
Nokia have lost the plot long ago & for one won't be buying another Nokia, because they're just about the worst manufacturer around.

Its a pretty ok phone. But sorry, Android is tons more better. Android already has 50,000 apps. Those sleek looking phones with sleek UI's from HTC, Sony Ericsson, and etc. are awesome. Symbian... I doubt they can even reach a thousand. Sure this has a great camera but thats about it. This will get boring after a while with no apps and no games and same old look. *yawn* Like the reviewer says, it's just the same old symbian. And for gods sake we're in 2010 already. 360x640 screen is so last year.

Not every phone is an iphone clone lol.

Is it just me, or does the device look like it has an iPhone 1st gen inside? Take a good look at the "inner" part where the screen is at, and then look at the bezel surrounding it...
