My old nokia 5700 with 2mp camera takes better pictures than my new sony erricson G900. The G900 so crappy that it cannot even zoom in or out to take a picture.

Look carefully at the design of the N97, it is awesome. This looks like an Aino copy, lol. I don't mentioned this is so ugly, but it's kind of that. Now for the moment, this is the best 12 MP camera phone announced in Europe, America, and Africa. I don't mentioned Asia, because they have better camera phones, that Nokia can't make, they can't rival Sharp, or Casio.

looks alike with se aino, but i think the camera should be much more better... SE camera worst among all... terrible compare to nokia phone, especially nokia with xenon flash like N82... Therefore this new coming phone should be the King of camera phone and surely will be better than se satio i think lol

I remember, when I saw for the first time the Nokia N97, I was shocked!! It has an awesome design, and it looks awesome in white. :) This has an uglier design. I admit it is a great camera phone, because I saw 6 samples. I guess this is the N86 8MP's successor.

hey come on, this phone hasn't arrived on market yet, and none of us have tried this phone. I guess, if you just don't like this phone, then don't buy it! Simple is it?
and for guys whose like "it has 17x zoom compared to bla bla's 3002x zoom", come on, this is a phone not a camera! And most phone use digital zoom which is worse than optical zoom. If you expect picture with more quality, then buy a pocket camera at least. IF you still mind the camera being big and lazy, no! Today pocket camera are available on size smaller and slimmer than mobilephones!
I'm a sony fanboy too btw, and Aino was a shame phone for it's speaker defect (my brother had the problem recently).

lookin at the spec is all perfect, although the ram is not 1gig snapdragon but wit a new hardware; "3D Graphics HW accelerator" looks interesting enough like a computer with a nvidia or ATi Graphic card...:), 2 minus point is tat its does not play Divx video, and a very very big minus is tat is still using Symbian n not Nokia new OS Maemo, or mayb a Android OS... very disappointed... I guess there is no such things as a "perfect" phone, its always have a plus and minus, i guess u have to live wit it...:)

why no snapdragon 1ghz processor, no 512ram no bluetooth3 no adob flash 10,1 no super amoled sceen as samsung wave. No wvga resilution , no xvid avi divx support , no wimax4g and just 1200 battery.

Yet again Nokia falling through with processor power. All latest high end devices are now packing 1 GHz processors. And for a full touch enabled device I expected the screen to be slightly bigger. Apart from that, the phone is going to be average by the time it comes out.

What would make Nokia realize that it's time they switch to the 1GHz processor for their higher end cell phones. I would hate to see another good Nokia phone hitting dust all the way down there! It was the processor that pushed me away from N97 and now with this new beautiful thing, they are only packing it with a 600MHz Processor and 256MB RAM....I always fancied Nokia's smartphones as mini PCs but the hardware always ruins the whole taste. I mean if Samsung can come up with a 1Gigs processor, what's stopping Nokia then???

hello nokia haterz.....ok you dont like d symbian os....bt plz jz take a look thru...d new ui iz kinda different when u go in..its way bettert than d older ones...nd lemme tell u sumtin..nokia hz a new os...if you havnt heard of it is meego....combination of nokia's maemo(n900's os) nd intel's moblin....guys nokia iz taking over d smartphones industry..i can bet m life on that cuz i saw some upcoming devices and omg...i am nt gonna say much...just wait and see who will rule...

What I believe Nokia should not only concentrate on capturing quality; I refer to the camera quality here, although it's important but they should also look into other aspects as well.
For example, Symbian Operating system. Is it sucess or failure? it depends some people liked it but some people not.
What I believe in order for nokia to make a huge sucess they should give up Symbian and take either a risk with new operating system like what samsung came up with very polished operating system which is Bada and avoid failures like engage, Or nokia can just utilize the existing powerful operating systems like Android.
Nokia fans might not like what I mentioned earlier but looking at the facts I believe nokia is still lagging behind and lots need to be accomplished till it gets back on track....

it should have had a 1 giga hz processor. even vivaz has a 720 mega hz processor. lolz
680 is not enough for aphone which is a high end device of 2010.

A very good piece of technology,though not completly satisfied with the specification that this phone has but still good work done by NOKIA,considering the price factor especially.
