Symbian is dead already :( Nokia spent hundreds of millions of dollars to buy Symbiand and now they are going to lose even more by sticking to symbian. If the developers don't make apps the hardware is useless. Android is the future.

    i must say i gave it to nokia for bringing a phone out with new colors. but nokia really needs to step up there game. still no 1ghz cpu and no 4 inch screen as well as divx play back out of the box. but i can say the design is ok. by years end in my mind samsung will win the touch screen race this year. was looking forward to a strong come back to replace my n97 from the nokia brand, but will jump ship to samsung ( still a nokia fan though ). hope nokia strikes back next year with a long awaited 4 inch viewer and a 1ghz cpu along with divx play back.

          phone looks good in silver and black version.. The only thing I am disappointed about is its processor.. ARM11 is not acceptable for me.. I wish it had ARM Cortex A8...

              Great phone ! I was waiting for it but unfortunately itz just a touchscreen! I will wait for the same which would be a 'qwerty+touch' !

                  This is predominantly a camera-phone, it should impress with its camera features and HD video, so the processor and UI is put in second plan. It should be a Satio opponent, not an iPhone one.

                                If phone will not be delayed and review will confirm good screen then I will buy it. At the moment i can see only that battery is not so good N97 has 1500mh this one 1200mh.

                                I was going to buy Samsung Beam but will choose N8 because it has xenon flash and because I know symbian from long time.

                                    Hey frnds, i've got some doubts abt the specs. of N8. The specification list at gsmarena shows N8 to b having bluetooth 3.0 nd video recording of 720p@30fps while the initial coverage at the homepage of gsmarena shows it to b bluetooth 2.1 nd video recording of 720@25fps. Plz confirm which of the following is correct?
