My Gallery started behaving weirdly since the last couple of days. Upon clicking on Send, gave me a 'processing' screen and it would stop at that. However If I go to favorites, it works flawlessly. I get the bluetooth and message option. Then there was some other problems with my Contacts running very slow. The smart search would only pull up data from my favorite list. So I thought of formatting my phone. It has booted up just fine. My gallery and contacts are behavig normally however, 'set as wallpaper' option no longer exists in the gallery any more. I have goto options on the home screen to change the wallapaper, but that doesnt give me the option to scale the image... I am confused on whats going on here... I have been using Belle with .0607 (Xeon 1.7). It has worked fine for the last 2 months till yesterday. The only thing I remember changing was that I had installed Nokia Social.... Any Idea on what the matter could be ?

If you're in need of software for reencoding your videos you can use HDConverttox, staxrip or mediacoder... I prefer HDConverttox as it is much simpler for me to work with and all my encodes work perfectly on my N8 at 720p and my encodes are roughly 2gB in size with 5.1 surround sound track. I think RayHipkiss can also advise you on links for downloading movies in either mp4 or mkv format compatible with the N8.

You should use Freemake Video Converter to convert video formats to work well on N8

Using it for the last 8 months.Excellent performance.Camera is gr8,Music and everything is excellent.I hanged twice in this 8 months and i couldn't even restart the device.I had to wait till the battery died then I restarted my phone..Everything is superb except its processor :)
