Hey guyz i need a help,when ever i take a pic or video clip donno y my n8 hangs for smtym n it dns't response at all until i smhow close the camera app...plz help :(

Your product code belongs to what is known as a swap device. It means the motherboard was changed on the phone but don't worry, it is genuine.
For your other issues you may want to perform a full factory reset/data wipe. Type *#7370# into the phones dial pad and input 12345 as the passcode when prompted. This will restore the phone to an out of the box condition, so it will remove all your apps and data so make sure to backup what you need first. Don't back up system settings though, as restoring these later will also restore your original problem.
If the problem persists after the factory restore take the phone back to Nokia care and explain the problem to them to get it repaired or swapped.
As a final note, you do not need anti-virus software on the N8. That sort of software will only slow the phone down and nothing else.

HI Guys..
Finally i got A new N8 on Saturday and happy to share with you...
The price has slashed in India for Rs19000 and i did got some offers like, Free Logitech 3.5mm Two speakers and 2gb internet download free to 6months on 2G network in Airtel .. but i was not able to activate it in my Airtel Sim card , Even tried with customer care but they say some rubbish.. is there someone who got this offer and activated kindly help me how to do that ?
One more thing i want to ask you guys is there any blog or website which would really help me out in how to use my N8 Camera? even i read the user manual but it was not appropriate .
Please reply me ..

I have been using N8 since July 2011 and it have been a very good experience specially when it comes to taking pictures and videos in fact i attended one of my friends wedding and he got professionals who were covering his wedding but the interesting thing that happened was that when i played the movie which i made with i N8 it actually outclassed the movie which the professionals made and this was a kind of a shocker not only for me but also for my friends. i am among the most satisfied user of this amazing device. only one recommendation for Nokia that to in coming sets please increase the amount of RAM

recently i bought samsung galaxy s2, wanted to try out something new. but it turns out that n8 is still the phone that i carry with me everyday. because in terms of making call + sms, n8 is easier and better than s2. also the camera+ fm transmitter, i use it daily, not occasionally.
apart from that, s2 is great.very speedy and responsive.for me it's like a mini tablet, much like the galaxy note. this device got all kind of apps, helped me a lot at work. use it to edit docs and excels as well.
the customization option on android is great, but personally,it is also a hassle as many things need to be sort out before use.
so at the moment n8 is still my preferred phone for daily regular use.

The first link was dead, so apologies for that. But the second link will download the original SIS file when the app was first created by the developer. As such, it is self signed by the QT development team so you will get a warning message on your phone when trying to install it. The warning message is something like "Application untrusted, may damage the phone", or words to that effect. You can safely ignore the warning this time and I guarantee it's authenticity.
Normally, I wouldn't install an application when receiving that warning message but I did check the certificate and it is a genuine self signed certificate from a trusted source.
