You don't need to remove the battery on ... moreRay,thanks for the information given.This phone has made me cry because my father scolded me and want to throw this phone coz often hang, but I forbade it.
But I love this phone coz it has many advantages, especially about the camera even has some problems but we can fix it.
I propose to you all to buy this phone to anyone who wants to buy a phone.

You don't need to remove the battery on the N8, and if you do you will lose any remaining warranty you might have left.
What you can do though, to simulate a battery pull is hold down the power button for approximately eight seconds until you feel three quick vibrations in succession, then leave it powered off for 30 seconds to allow any residual current to dissipate from the phones circuitry.
Your frequent hanging problems can be caused by not enough free memory on C: or E:, so free up those memories by deleting apps installed to C: and reinstalling them to E: and move any media files from both memory locations to a PC.
This problem can also be caused by software, either the OS itself, a Beta app/s or antivirus software. Get rid of any antivirus software because you don't it (if you have any) and uninstall any beta apps you might have.
If you still have the same problem then a factory reset and data wipe should be performed. Type *#7370# into the phones dial pad. The default security code is 12345 (unless you have previously changed it yourself). Be warned that this operation will delete all user data, apps and media files from all locations on the phone, i.e. C: Phone memory, E: Mass memory and F: SD card so make sure you do a backup first. Don't backup system settings because when you come to restoring your backup you'll end up restoring the original problem so only backup media files, contacts and messages (if you want to keep those).
Under no circumstances should anyone perform the three fingered suicide reset on the N8. It's unnecessary and will break the OS.

And where can I get a ... moreCall Nokia care center and let them replace the battery for you. If you replace it by yourself you will void the warranty. But, if you don't care about the warranty and still wonna do it yourself you could get the screw driver at any store where they sell screwdriver.. just have your phone there to show the sales person to help you. lol however, Nokia would do all this for free, because battery problems are factory defects and all factory defects are repaired for free..

my phone is hang a lot.When I go to the phone shop, they charge high to me the only to remove phone battery and they said to me that the software are the main of problem.Is that true?

I charmed by this phone, please, I know that Nokia would release a successor of this phone, the 803 but I dont feel like the design so I rather choose this one I'd like to buy this phone, any suggestion if that this phone worth or not to buy?

nelly, 20 Jan 2012i want to know if belle is out, if so can i update my n8 in... moreno may friend no belle yet ,should be a february official release .. you can flash your phone with one of the leaked versions ,i flashed mine loong time ago since first leaked version was out hehe
