Would be nice to have a N8 cause the phone looks good and performs fine. Good camera as well and it gives one handed usability. I have the trio N8, 808 and 1020 and everytime I use the N8 it feels as if you don't need more.

PintoManuel, 25 Jan 2015The GPS in my Nokia N8 doesnt work anymore...i´ve onl... morePlease try using/enabling the mobile data when you want to use GPS in map applications. I too was upset when mine did not work for 10 to 15 minutes and sometimes it did not help at all. Once your GPS starts working you may switch off the mobile data and GPS continues to work. It is much much faster this way than trying to let the GPS work on its own. I do it all the time now and it works fine. Before that I never got any signal or location for 10 to 15 minutes at least and I would end up feeling frustrated...

I had to sell my Nokia N8 (Dark Grey colour) because it was originally a silver colour model and had its body changed twice and because of that the touch started to misbehave so I changed the touch and it started to work perfect but a new problem popped up after that whenever using internet or making calls the touch was working on its own without the user's input. I flashed the firmware twice through Phoenix but the problem didn't go away because it was hardware specific. Sold it to someone who would use it as an multimedia device without cellular connectivity. Now with that money I bought a Nokia Asha 200. Still had some money left so added some from my pocket and bought a Nokia N8 (Bronze) colour today through the classifieds. (-:

2 month ago I bought 808 and my friend bought N8.
I already sold my 808 as I needed money to buy 1020.
NOW my friend is going to sell his N8 @ half price(8 k bdt).
Should I buy it?.
Is it a good one for daily rough use.

What's more shocking is that Nokia priority stores are getting renamed to Microsoft Priority stores in my locality. By the way, bought a second hand Nokia Asha 200 today for half the rate. Pretty good phone. Nice camera for digital stills, great sound and awesome battery life. Only con is that it doesn't support Whatsapp like my Nokia X2-01 used to despite being a cheap phone and it is a bit slow when using a theme other than the default ones that comes pre-loaded. :-)
