thats very bad fone lots hang and the use net lots of heat and.nokia says n8 have 12meg pixcel camera i abrove c6 camera clearity is better than n8..and n8 price is also 2much there is so many problem

steve, 22 Dec 2011i have n8 since nov/2010. i want to share my opinion with y... moreI'll be honest here. The N8 has a great camera with an average operating system with Anna and we are told Belle is going to be much better! The truth is even when Belle arrives sometime next year( not good enough Nokia) it still will not be a match for Apple!
I have an N8 and have watched videos of Belle and I have also played with iPhone 4S - No contest! It's like a Ferrari racing a Golf Gti......
I buy phones on merit and could not care less who the manufacturer is, but I will give credit where it is duel! The new WP7 looks interesting but for me it is too early to take the plunge in that direction! After 1years ownership with N8 I have become frustrated and have lost interest in playing the waiting game for updates - especially when Belle is already out. So I will buy my first iPhone next week - sim free. I know it works very very well and I know You don't wait forever for any updates! I am writing this from an iPad 2 I bought 2 weeks ago and the experienced with this device made up my mind to buy the 4S!
I will finally add that Nokia are not helping their cause by not looking after existing customers with delay after delay with updates. I am sure they will deliver some good phones in the future with WP7 but many people like me will not be back soon - if at all!!!

Simply this is the best Nokia phone I've ever had. Camera quality is outstanding. Only the video recording in low light is bad because of the xenon flash. But in photo quality...I think this phone is unbeatable. This is technology! I am not disappointed in Nokia. :)

i have n8 since nov/2010. i want to share my opinion with you after using an iphone 3g my best friend gave me.(he's got the iphone 4s that i have tried a lot as well).My n8 is very good on camera-call quality-build quality-maps navigation(i tried it in uk,malaysia,singapore,china and performance was perfect) -functions like hdmi out, usb otg,compatibility with all phones to send and receive data etc etc. The only downside of the phone is when you use the internet a lot and the email. there things get little dificult with the stability and strength of the software and processor. About the apps that a lot of people talk about i find ovi store very good. i found all i needed and most importand free.The reason i mentioned the iphone before was to make a comparison. iphones have a a lot of limitations.Even with the apps you cannot make it an easy going phone. You need to be dedicated to it all the time.But if you dont mind about those things it has a feeling to the software and performance that all the other phones look premitive.
My final words.....if you want and like a lot of extras to your phone go for the n8 BUT if you want the power of a lion that you will have to respect as well go for the iphone. bb to all and merry christmas and a happy new year

Its only blow to other phones is its 12MP cam. I don't recommend this phone because later, you'll want a more responsive phone which has higher CPU rate 1GHz or more than a good camera. Be practical, price isn't that far away.

u will forget to capture images with your digicam..
I have used for my family function..
As it has zenon flash,can take images very crispe in night also..

Though the modders are doing great job, everybody needs different optimization and customization which one may dislike where others live happily with, Now nokia have announced Nokia Belle comming Feb 2012,
They will bounce back on top of everyone with a clean and professional Belle update as their own leaked belle fw receiving great response from all over the world and also helped them identifying the bugs and other improvements which will put them on top in the class...
