RIz, 06 Dec 2011Hi all. specially Ray. I can't use Nimbuzz on my Nokia n8 .... morefirst reset the phone with *#7370# then do the hard reset everything will start working.you can search for hard resetting on net for N8.I had the same problem but now my phone is working fine.

Hi all. specially Ray. I can't use Nimbuzz on my Nokia n8 ..whenever i sign in it shows the main screen and then freeze the screen ..and also another problem when clicking any application from ovi store its just remain surfing but not shows it downloading...tell me what to do .. i have applied*#7370# but didn't work and i am using symbian anna and i didn't try Nimbuzz before. beside ovi store was working before the upgrade to anna. tell me what to do.

AnonD-5400, 05 Dec 2011Im really sick waiting for official belle release now, Noki... moreI've given up mate and to be honest I'm going over to Apple now! N8 has a great camera but buggy software to go with it! After Anna, scrolling on my N8 is very erattic!
When and if you get Belle - it is still no match for other operating systems out there in my opinion!
I'm going to put mine on eBay soon or it will just gather dust.
Many knock Apple, but to be honest, software wise they're unbeatable and the 8mp camera has received rave reviews with some stating that it is better than N8's - we shall see! The only neg I can see is the price to buy sim free!
Anyway, Its been a frustrating time for me owning a Nokia and waiting forever for updates that should have been released many months ago. The times now up for me, but good luck with Symbian Belle - I'm sure the phone will be much improved when it arrives!

It's very difficult to eliminate hiss and cra... morei am aware of cable being much better Ray, but my original Volvo car stereo dont have a 3.5mm input, changing it is not an option. Now my other car in my second home country is a different story, i will change the stereo in may/june when i return there, i plan to get a sony or pioneer with both bluetooth and USB. Been looking at the Sony DSX-S300, "supports HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles for hands-free talking and music streaming from your mobile".
But i still need a good FM Transmitter, for the Volvo and watever.. I guess i trust u on this and forget about the N8. Someone else here said its good when good signal but it sounds like it could mean problems....

Have you downloaded the Belle firmware yet? If so, what do you think of it? The lows and highs.
I have finally been able to download it successfully via navifirm and will probably be flashing my phone come tomorrow.
What do you think is you future stance with regards to nokia and their products?

The best thing you can do is to contact Nokia using the support option in the Nokia store app.

2)Go to Ovi Suite in computer
3)Select Update Software from Tools menu
You will get Symbian Anna
1)Type *#0000# in your nokia N8
2)Then Press Options Select Software Update

I am Nokia Fan and using N8 & I would like to be straight to the Point & frank.
If ur looking for good Cam, got for N8 or else U can go for any other like S2.
Simple logic, once ur purchase for time being its good, but with lesser processor speed, less RAM, Belle would be last update. So its up to you. If U ask me, I would now might not go for N8. But you can experiment it to the core with the applications available in web(Example N8fanclub).

Why they themselves keep leaking their own stuff and unveil their future planning a century earlier without even having a blue print of it...
Stop announcing the big names like Carla, Donna and bla bla bla without even having a story behind it...

hey guys will someone who had the n8 and has upgraded to anna please help, i plan to buy a new phone before saturday, now the n8 seems very nice and all but is it realy? i have heard of software probs not found in similiar phones (C7,C6-01,C6) and that after anna upgrade performance lags, please help quick, am realy interessted in this beast :) thanx
