Thanks for the appreciation, it's very welcome.
To answer your question about the Belle release date it's supposed to be released anytime between now and the end of December. That being said, Nokia have a history of missing deadlines so it may not get released until the new year.

You may need to reinstall your QT components. Download them from the following link.

It's important to install them in the correct order and they MUST be installed to your C: drive.
The order of installation is QTSA 4.7, QT Webkit then QT Mobility.
Once that's done reboot your phone with the eight second long power button press until three quick vibrations are felt, leave it off for approximately 10 seconds then turn back on.
Then you can try reinstalling the new Nokia store Rollidice advised you on.

ROLLINDICE....i am verry thankful to u for advise and helpout me....but dear brother i have already done it but still OVI not working...when i touch the OVI store icone then OVI shows loading for long time..its mean OVI not step farward from loading to other thing

[deleted post]yes but it must be sis, jar or sisx files... must look for a third party sites to download your favorite games,,, n8 cant install exe files which is for computer only

i bought my n8 last nov. 22 2011, the phone is already updated with anna,,, the problem is the internet runs very slow even opera mini thats why im using uc browser now and it works very fast also for download,,, those who upgrade to version 25 and so just wait the download it'll take minutes to update the version , better connect with wifi.... SW update too... n8 has a slow battery but when i remove the sim card it last til the 3rd day which is sounds good.... photos and videos are in HD quality,,, amazing!... i really recommend this phone to everybody its very good for photo and videographer,,, everything is really good.. ask me anything about my n8 FB:ferociousoul@y.c

Those who are having trouble regarding OVI store, quick office and adobe reader...follow these steps and your problem will be gone
1.go to menu> application
2. you wud find "sw update" icon there.tap on that and the phone will search for available updates.you will find 4 updates there.. select all and install all of them. If all updates dont install and some of them fail to install then retry till all the updates are installed. Only after this your ANNA update will be finished and u will enjoy all the goodies.

TimmyTee, 26 Nov 2011Please advice... buy N8 for $299USD or 701 for $325USD? Ca... moresure go for Nokia N8 since it's cheaper and the specification is better compare with Nokia 701. The only advantage of 701 only having 1GHz processor, N8 only has 680MHz but I don't think that make a very big different since using Symbian not that much consumption as Android. I am 1 of the Nokia N8 user for almost 10month and I am loving it, waiting for Symbian Belle for upgrade. Hehe.. Have a nice day..

Hi,
I bought N8 yesterday ,but i have face two problem ,first i can not update to map 3.08 ,and my phone ver is Anna 24.7 and i can not updated to 25.007 ,i don't understand why !!! does my phone have fault or something i don't know ? plz help me

You should wait for the N8's price to drop. The SE Vivaz is not as good as the N8 and is still running Symbian S60 5th edition.
