N8's sold last year and this year will have the same hardware. The firmware could be different. The new stocks could be shipped with Symbian Anna already but ask the store first to confirm before buying.

Are the N8s that were released last year the same as those that are being released this year? Are there differences with the hardware or just the firmware?

Hi guys;
I've been using N8 for about a month now, it's a gr8 phone and i must say i love it. Problem is that it just decided to freeze, and i don't know what triggered or caused that. I realised this when i tried to unlock the screen, which i locked two hours before when i had a nap.
The screen doesn't respond at all, even when i call it with my other phone.
Sum1 please help.

AnonD-28873, 13 Nov 2011i've flash my n8 with belle since it leaked way back august... moreMe too flashed n8 with cfw belle and i gotta say its fantastic and now i have unlimited homescreen... its UI is completely changed i wonder why nokia didn't released it at first... if they had released then there will be no need for nokia to migrate to microsoft....

It could be because of the sites that you're browsing. If they have a mobile version of their site, you might want to try those instead of their full (desktop) site. Mobile sites consume less memory. Also, gigahertz is for processor speed. Your N8 didn't change it's processor after upgrading its firmware.
