I have to agree, the camera is a killer feature of the N8 and is hard to give up. That's why I kept hold of mine and because of the HDMI output and sat nav.
We will have to see what Nokia bring out with their Windows Phone handsets. They need to be something special if they want to survive in the mobile phone business.

As far as I know the Belle update is scheduled for release in 2011 Q4. Now Q4 means October to December, so judging by past trends I wouldn't expect it before December.
The N8's camera can now record video at 30 FPS but you need to install the camera update SIS file available from the Nokia Beta labs web site.

Just log in with your Nokia account details to download the update.

Congratulations on your new phone, I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. Don't take any notice of Krish, he sounds like he wants to start an argument with someone.
Just because someone has got a phone that isn't a Nokia doesn't make them a hater of Nokia but it does mean that they have woken up and moved on. Luckily for me, when I got my Samsung Galaxy S I was still able to keep my N8, so I have the best of both worlds. The N8 can do many things that the Samsung can't, and vice versa.
Even though I've had my rants in the past about Nokia, it doesn't mean I hate them. I just don't like their business model and the way they treat their customers.

There are people who love for their gadgets and want authentic updates. Particularly I wouldn't have flashed my N8 had I had one.

I had problems with N8 - other side coudnt hear me properly - called the company - they send me another handset - have similar problems - would not advise N8 it at any cost
