Nokia has betrayed all of us, especially in the USA.

I forgot to mention that Nokia advertised the N8 as a mobile computer, not a mobile phone when it was launched.

And of course the N8 is lightning fast and best in class is it?
It has never come top in any mobile phone review. Not once. All because Nokia had no clue of how to produce a genuine contender in the smart phone business, and they still don't.
They are trying to catch up with the pathetic 701 which is basically a C7 with a 1 GHz CPU.
They can't even get the update procedure right either. There are still countries waiting for Anna even though Nokia promised that all N8's would receive the update by the end of August, and that promise was made way back in April.
I'm sorry, but your loyalty to a company that has no loyalty to it's customers is truly sad and shocking. Every device they release from now on is an insult. They seem to be wanting to flood the market with as many cheap and nasty phones as possible just to be able to say "we are the largest phone manufacturer on the planet".

                            Enjoy.

It's clear to me that you are nursing a semi for Belle so no matter what I say won't change your mind. That's fine and I hope you enjoy your Android clone for years to come. I'll be giving my N8 to my eight year old daughter to play with. I'm done with it now, and done with Nokia. They'll be out of business soon enough, so everyone will eventually be forced to buy from other manufacturers anyway.

                                All the best.

Well, lot of people say that nokia sucks becoz it lack apps,,boring OS..i have an answer for them ....
i m a mobile apps/hardware expert.. (not a big fan of nokia) but i must say that if u r a teenager /businessman wateva u r ... u need few apps in ur cellphone (facebook, skype, messengers,,ebuddy,,angry birds etc) not million billions of apps in cellphone....and nokia have all these apps in ovi store....now coming to OS ..noki have done wonderfully well with its OS ..shifting to Anna ,,belle made a huge change in their cellphone's efficiency + battery life of nokia phones are more than awesome.....SO i think nokia i not lagging in this smartphone competition...it has its own adv and disadv....
On the otherhand Android phones have a huge problem of lagging and hanging up even phone with 1.2 ghz processor....while nokia n8 with 600mhz is silky smooth...:)

Well, we have 50.000 apps too, thousands of them free and a lot of them are very good, so not sure if that's an argument anymore. On the other part, Android does not yet have a serious camera phone, with xenon, big sensor, zoom in video without loss of quality, etc ... so no, thanks, I'll stick to Symbian. And if you are worried about updates, 10 months since launching of N8 we got 3 firmware updates (PR 1.1, PR 1.2 and Anna) and already announced the forth one (Belle) ... and at least Anna and Belle are big updates. Symbian Belle is a match to any Android out there. Androids are not a match (hardware-wise) to an N8 (camera, HDMI, FM Transmitter, five band 3G, metal construction, USB OTG, clock always on screen without much battery consumption, etc). They beat Symbian at screen resolution ...
