Just want to say today so happy with anna update. Though not as good as ios or android,i'm still happy.

hi I just updated my n8 to with the ANNA nut after I have done it I am unable to send text messages .I have checked with all network settings but nothing seems to work please help!

Update today with symbian anna through OTA...just 24mb...so just update with your phone through FOTA...it's quite easy...

Symbian update available in trivandrum,india and it took me 10 mins(25099 kb downloaded in less than 3 mins and 7 mins approx to install) to get Anna on my N8. The browser is awesome. Observations so far, manually created folders in menu gone missing after the update,The big clock screen saver is missing (where the purple tint was seen )

I have updated my phone with anna.text input, camera and browser are well improved.swype is working fine in portrait qwerty.its really very useful.image quality is also improved.continuous focus with30 frames is a nice addition.browser scored130 points in html test.

Finally updated my N8 to Symbian Anna via Ovi Suite (256mb size). It really is faster and now I can side scroll ala iOS. Qwerty keypad is good (although I'm already used to numpad). I used Swype App in portrait for the first time but sadly it crashed several times. There must be a compatibility issue so I have to disable Swype for now while I enjoy Qwerty pad. The new browser is better. The screen now just split whenever I type something. (Though I still prefer Opera). While all things being good, I am dismayed with Quickoffice disappearing after the update. It is no longer in the installed apps. Whaa!! Hope someone can help.

Hey guys,
They mentioned "Nokia N8 gets continuous auto-focus in video recording plus a higher video framerate (30fps),", but when I switch on the video, I dont get the flash option, is any one getting it??
how can we make out if its 30fps?

KK, 18 Aug 2011With update purple tint issue completly gone.Hey KK,
I dont think the purple tint issue is resolved, only the clock part is resolved. If you check the videos you can still make it out. Corret me if am wrong

AnonD-5400, 18 Aug 2011No, no such issue with my cell. Still using 5800, Its 2 yea... more...if my tube in cold condition...it blur...but if hot condition..it normal.....
why u must wait preloaded...?buy n8 now n update today...
new n8 might be change some materials...just like 5800 2009 had tv out cable n other accries...but in 2010-2011 cut it..only charge,headset standard,n short usb...
n8fanclub.com is better choice to get amazing app n games without paying in ovi store/nokia store(2011),
