bought an n8 four months ago and never experienced any problem. bought another one for my mom and she loved it. guess some people have bad luck with the problems they meet with n8. or is it plain stupidity or ignorance or you just want to defame the N8! get real.

hey i am looking for Nokia n8 but some people are telling that you should look for android mobiles.so can any 1 tell me which phone to buy and it should be of same price as Nokia n8. :)

Hi Guys, I am a proud owner of an N8 and I am more that satisfied with what it can do. I visit this forum everyday to hear about something new about my phone. I am thoroughly dissappointed at what some people have to say, I mean, if you love your phone and its brand so much then visit that forum, this is not the right one for you. Also, If you hatre N8 so much dont visit this forum. Thhis forum is to discuss about the problem and the benefits with N8. Also, people conversing in languages other English, please dont hesitate to discuss in English. Its better to discuss with 100 and be understood than discuss with 5 and be confused. purple/pink tint problem is common as i have compared my n8 with some of my friends n8...but it is a problem...
In some phones it Will be very more and others less like pixels seem to show variations in colour, creating boxes.... A perfect lcd should be out of this...

they just dont know about Purple tint problem
i asked them it is wrold wide but they say we havnt got any mail from nokia.I ask them to replace my N8 Lcd for this problem but dont think so that they will.
tell me guyz how to convince that Nokia replace lcd for this problem
I gave my mobile to Nokia Center Yesterday for
3 Problem
1.Purple tint(dont think they are convinced to replace)
2.Restart
3.Signal Drop

Cant save msgs to memory card
In Message settings other i just got three options
1.Save sent Messages
2.Number of Saved msgs
3.Show msgs in groups
No other option :(

As far as I know, using mods you can do follow... morethanks man.i've tried most of those.
the camer mods/video mods tends to brings error to the phone,once i have to reboot my phone due to 'unexpected error' from it.so in my opinion its better to stay away from it as the original settings are already superb.im also using the faster kinetic scrolling,smoother transition effect and much more.
and thanks for the link man,going to search for more mods.

ive been using my n8 for 6 months now but suddenly it went off. i cant turn it on. i bought it in the philippines but now im here in saudi. can i return the phone at the nokia center here in saudi? i need your help guys, if u have experienced any. thanks
