Hi All,
Can anybody discuss on the purple/red screen issue..
I purchased N8 in the last month. Was working fine for the first 15 days. After that I started facing purple/red tinge on the analog clock.
I had called Nokia, They suggested me to submit the handset to Nokia Care..
But having gone through different posts, I got to know once the handset is submitted its not rectified But the problem worsens..else you get refurbished handset
What to do ?
Any Idea guys..

We would need to fill our pocket by 45% more if you gonna buy N8 than wave:)
Wave2 got 3'7 comaped to N8's 3'5
and last but not the least... i am not sure about the symbian OS future...wil wait and see

thnks again for reply...but it still connected to my wifi..even i have uninsstaled whatsapp...
i ve disconnected it n turn off the wlan but after a minute it connected again....
but its not a big problem rite...

What I like about Nokia is that it is user- friedly, unlike other brands, it really took me long to familiarize it. They also cater to the needs of their clients in terms of the latest needs of today's gadget. Congratulations!

i can't disable the screen saver lock code ,it all started when i setup my exchange mail account and the phone forced me to give it a lock code and now i can't disable it ,please anyone can help

Am i the only person finding the battery life of this phone to be pathetic. Have the phone for 7 days now and have had to recharge 4times. and i hardly use the thing

For that you need to download a application called light Control, Its by Maocai Luo. v1.51 being the latest one. But i use v1.36...No major change-log, But its a ad free version. So its better than v1.51...
After Installing just tap the 1st option (i.e control method) once, Now it will set according to status. You're done. Sensor is disabled. No brightness change without your permission...
You can even turn off Hardware Key (i.e Menu Key)...Great thing for watching movies at night...

another cause for ur problem is the whatsapp app. if so, u cant control it as it always wanna be online.
