[deleted post]nokia have always done what it says on the tin, ie made calls, anywhere, throw in the best camera ever on a phone, and a good intuitive interface, plus plenty of apps on ovi, and free satnav, and you got a good package, Also it does not tie you to i tunes to manage your music, always a plus.pc sync is great, organise features and email work well.Absolutely nothing to whine about ,looks cool feels like quality.

Ok my opinion the,nokia n8 is dead like nokia n900 nokia seem to stop the support for nokia n8, also nokia n97 and nokia x6

The best phone! I am just enjoying it..its stylish look and also the camera is wonderful. More luckily I got it cheaply from http://www.tobuydeals.com/product/nokia-inc-002s524-n8-touchscreen-smartphone
It is really a 'smart' phone with multiple personalizable home screens and 2D and 3D graphics architecture.. :)

two great news for us n8 fans..... 1st elop himself announced symbian will be supported ''atleast'' till 2016.... all rumours now finally gets stumped about ditching symbian and 2nd camera pro 2.0 is out which allows direct web upload and more interestly allows you to make it default cam app with cam button personally tested too good.... source of both news n8fanclub.com

Sorry but there's still no solution to this purple screen problem. Nokia acknowleded it but they don't want to make the public know about it. Someone on the main Nokia support forums talked about making this defect known on Facebook and his post got deleted. Nokia is doing some damage control and that's how they do it, by deleting people's posts.
