[deleted post]It's written right there in the specs, you know:

"- Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF)
      - Flash Lite v4.0"

It doesn't have flash 10 though.

                  : A finalization is ongoing
and final versions with the latest UX
                  enhancements are available soon. A
schedule is not fully known yet but
                  aroun ~late May/early June
everything should be in a good
                  shape. Unfortunately, most of the
design especially on Meego side is
not public yet. We inform about
                  dates when available.

Wow! I Fixed the purple tint problem! I downloaded app from ovi store which disables built in light sensor and lets you adjust brightnes yourself. All the purple tint disapears everywhere and you don't even have to put the brightness on 100 %. I have it on 95 and still perfect. And amazingly battary lasts the same. maybe because of the amoled.
The phone looks as it never had the problem This is amazing...
The App (Brightness Control By Lanternsoft) only in ovi store. Cost 1 $

ABC123, 04 May 2011You people seem to know a lot. I am undecided between the G... moreI own both the N8 and the SGS.
The N8 is a solidly built phone with HDMI out, USB on the go and a 12 Mega pixel camera with Xenon flash. It also comes with 16 GB of internal storage ( there is also a 32 GB version available ) plus an SD slot for a further 32 GB of storage.
However, it runs on Symbian OS which will be discontinued by the start of next year when the new Nokia / WP7 phones are released. Nokia have promised to continue support for Symbian for the next 18 months to 2 years. Symbian Anna ( formerly known as PR 2.0 ) will start rolling out over the next couple of months or so, and there are rumours of a PR 3.0 being released too by the end of the year.

The SGS is a decent enough Android phone and is very fast and responsive when updated to 2.2.1. The screen is nice and big at 4" and colour reproduction is crisp and vibrant.
There is the promise of Gingerbread being released for the SGS quite soon ( it was actually released at the end of April, but was pulled by Google on the same day ), but that will probably be the last update the SGS will get.

So, if you are looking for a solid phone with a brilliant camera and are not really bothered about " apps " then go for the N8.
If you want a phone with plenty of " apps " then the SGS is for you.

                                Hope that helps.

I just recently bought a galaxy tab & its good for both business & pleasure but lack of some features that n8 has like multitasking & usb otg. Hope Nokia manufacture a 7 inch tablet that runs with symbian & can beat the galaxy tab or any other tablet.
