Nokia N8 has very poor quality of Camera, if you compare with 3.2 MP its batter than 12 MP, when you capture a picture always folk on the back side of picture.

People, it's not LOOSE or LOOSING.
These words mean "to free, to let go, to release".

The correct words are LOSE and LOSING, which mean "to miss, to waste, to misplace".

Hopefully those people, who are not aware of the characteristics of AMOLED screens, will start to understand this matter.

The color tint issue of AMOLEDs is just like the "no true black" issue of LCDs.

A CCFL or even an LED back-lit LCD, cannot display true black, because the back-light is always on.
Even current local-dimming LED LCD aren't able to do that for all scenes, unless manufacturers can manage to make an LED LCD panel that has an LED for each pixel. I'm not sure if that's even possible.

Most AMOLED displays have a slight color tint, mostly because of their non-equal subpixels and the way manufacturers calibrate them.

This part is straightly taken from the Disadvantages segment of the OLED article on wikipedia:

                              "Color balance issues:

Additionally, as the OLED material used to produce blue light degrades significantly more rapidly than the materials that produce other colors, blue light output will decrease relative to the other colors of light. This differential color output change will change the color balance of the display and is much more noticeable than a decrease in overall luminance. This can be partially avoided by adjusting colour balance but this may require advanced control circuits and interaction with the user, which is unacceptable for some users. In order to delay the problem, manufacturers bias the colour balance towards blue so that the display initially has an artificially blue tint, leading to complaints of artificial-looking, over-saturated colors. More commonly, though, manufacturers optimize the size of the R, G and B subpixels to reduce the current density through the subpixel in order to equalize lifetime at full luminance. For example, a blue subpixel may be 100% larger than the green subpixel. The red subpixel may be 10% smaller than the green."

                              ----------------------------------------
                              @NEWS
I also looked into this tint matter last night, and found out that other OLED phones, like HTC desire and nexus one, also do suffer from this issue, but apparently on a lower scale.

All in all, a slight tint is normal, but if your phone has a excessive level of it, you should get it fixed but don't expect to have a COMPLETELY tint-free display.

                                Great News!!!
I solved the problem about how the purple tint is caused...
I have compared 10 different amoled screens...
I got the special test images and put them all together..
And guess what? All of them had a slight purple tint. But some more than others...
So, as I studied this, I discovered that 50% of this is an amoled feature and they struggle to display dark gray sometimes.. 25% is caused by the light sensor... in the dark tint rises... and 25 % is the negative drivers... Nokia has put some faulty drivers that give the screen wrong informations...
But know that all of the amoled screens have this problem but sometimes it is very hard to spot them...
If you don't believe, I will post the video soon...

The problem with the screen seems to be a complex one.
There are some with a definite purple defect, which can be easily identified by looking at the Analogue screen saver. If the top half of the clock is purple, then you have a defective screen. If the clock is entirely silver/white, then your screen is most likely fine. Now, what makes this complicated is this: the N8 has an AMOLED screen which does tend to show a slight pink tint when the screen is at it's dimmest, and also when the screen brightness changes from dim to bright and vice versa, but then goes away once the screens brightness settles. That unfortunately is the nature of AMOLED screens. It's the same with the Samsung Galaxy S.
So if your screen is definitely faulty ( half purple clock )
it will need to be repaired by Nokia.

The firmware update once known as PR 2.0, now known as Anna has been scheduled for release this summer. So we're looking at July / August at the latest. It is already available for new handsets being sold today, but not the N8 yet.
The Anna update is the big update all N8 owners are looking forward to, and will be a deciding factor on whether Symbian will survive just that little bit longer.

                                  All the best.

                                  Ray

The questions is for Ray Hipkiss, he seems to be reliable answering questions about the n8.
I've got that phone for a while now, been working fine. There is a slight issue with that screen. So, this one cant be fixed by software update right?
