robert, 29 Mar 2011OK i will give you what i dont like about the phone .. S... moreAbout the speaker, if you put it in your pocket, I'm sure your pocket can not completely cover the speaker of your phone, just a small tiny hole is enough for your phone to ring out loud, unless your pocket is made of plastic, rubber or any of the same kind, where the sounds are being trapped by those materials.

The way you criticize, seems you really don't have an N8 phone. Because people whom really have an N8 will not open out like what you have posted here, because the video & photos of N8 on the web are different in actual experience.

robert, 29 Mar 2011OK i will give you what i dont like about the phone .. S... moreHow come you can not fully zoom in the photos or pictures in gallery? Try not to use the zoom in/out button or try not to double tap the pictures/photos on the screen, use your 2 fingers (thumb & index fingers) & slide-out on to the touch screen to zoom in/out like in htc, iphone, sgs, or other touch screen phones.
About the web browser, you can download the UC browser in Ovi or Opera Mini 11, those are excellent web browser.
About the battery, your imagination is wild, N8 is not freezing at all, your friends are disappointing you about the N8 & your mind is programmed that in order for a phone to restart, you have to remove the battery. If and only if in case it freezes touch the power button about 8 seconds & the phone will restart, all phones have their own set or way of restarting.
Common Dude, you are not in the jungle anymore, discover your phone thoroughly first before you complain & post in any blog spot.
If you don't know try to ask questions first, instead of complaining.

robert, 29 Mar 2011OK i will give you what i dont like about the phone .. S... moreIf your N8 is set to power saving mode, whatever profiles (General, Outdoor, Meeting, Silent, Personalized Profile)you are using will be deactivated except to the power saving mode, and power saving mode turns off anything that consumes battery charge faster like screen saver, vibrate, screen brightness, etc. So if you don't want to miss any calls or messages, don't activate the power saving mode, but set it in silent mode profile.

N8 even had a headstart @ 3:30 and the Galaxy S finished before the N8.

I get GPS lock in 10-15 seconds when using airtel SIM(mobile office as GPRS settings) but it generally takes more than 7-8 minutes using vodafone SIM(vodafone live as GPRS settings). What is wrong with the GPS? I am from india.
