                  Hello Guys,

I was really over joyed while buying my Nokia N8 ... but sorry to day that my Joy didnt last long ...
I was observing small performance issues like 'Back' button not working, Music player widget getting hanged etc but after 2 weeks my N8 just died ... automatically it switched off and then never turned on even with 2 days of continues charging ... I have returned to back to the Nokia store ...

so there is no possible way it can overheat(not even in your wildest dreams or what ever you are having).i am realy pleased with my N-8 i have had it for close to 6 moths now with absolutly no problems at all.

[deleted post]Fanboys like you will always deny any fault, defect or short comming of this phone. You're like one of the fanboys who said the defect was all in our minds when this defect broke out on the internet. Well you know what? Nokia acknowledged the defect and the defect is real. Not because you're not affected by it means that the N8 is defect free.

The proof is out there in case you don't know. Google "N8 purple screen defect" and you will get a lot of tesults.

                          http://www.google.com/search?q=n8+purple+screen+defect&nomo=1

Now tell me it's not real.

those who r facing problem with purple screen issue should sell their n8 to get rid of this problem bcoz updates will not fix this issue and nokia is not taking serious action till now ..its been one month and no genuine solution has been seen from nokia to fix this issue .nokia is very irresponsible and lazy now a days ...as their is still second batch of n8 in market so those who r planning to buy handset its recommended not to buy just now and to wait till fresh batch of n8 hits market otherwise anyone can be victim of facing this problem.....people are enjoying their n8 those who have got 100% perfect device ..from past one month daily purple screen issues are increasing ,............

For those who just bought the N8 and are having very bad battery life... Fret not, for the poor battery life in the first few charges is completely normal! After a charge and drain cycle of about a week, the battery life of my N8 has improved drastically. At first it won't even last for a day, but now it lasts even longer! I wonder how long it would take for my N8 to last for 2 days, just as the other people say,...
