Sushil, 10 Mar 2011Will someone please suggest me which phone should I go for ... moreNokia C6 is symbian OS v9.4, not very good and 3.2 inches screen, E7 has 4.0 inch display it's a plus , but if you use SMS i don't know if the slider will resist to your every day use. Nokia N8 has a 3.5 inch screen, it's not bad, in landscape mode you use QWERTY keyboard, with small letters, but it has a very low rate of mistakes if compare with my old HTC Touch HD. But the decision is up to you. Nobody can say what phone will suit you best. You have to try them all.

Will someone please suggest me which phone should I go for N8 or E7 or C6.
My sms use is high so I am more attracted towards E7 or C6.
Budget does matter, still adjustable but product should be good.
Please suggest?

[deleted post]@Pre-historic.
I'm afraid you are quite wrong to suggest that Android is more advanced than Symbian.
I am fortunate enough to own both a Samsung Galaxy S and a Nokia N8, so I'm able to make a true comparison between the two.
First off then, when I'm in range of my home wifi network m N8 will automatically connect to it whenever I execute a web operation and automatically disconnect when I'm finished. Not so with the SGS. I have to manually turn on wifi when needed and manually turn it off when I'm finished.
Secondly, there is no " Mark all " functionality within the built in email application, so each email in the inbox has to be manually marked, one by one to be able to mass delete multiple emails. That can be very time consuming if you have a lot of emails to delete.
Thirdly, by default you cannot set your own personal sound file as a notification tone. you have to create a folder called notifications in the root folder and put your sound files in there to give that basic function.
Also, with the N8 when sending a file via bluetooth there is no need to manually turn on bluetooth. The phone does it for you, and then turns bluetooth off for you when the file is sent.
The menu system on the SGS is a joke. It's not possible to create custom folders to separate and categorize installed applications. So you end up with multiple screens full of applications in no particular order.
Lastly, the on screen keyboard is badly designed. Most of the major punctuation marks are not on the main keyboard but on the numeric one in landscape mode.
There are plenty of other aspects Android could be improved on, but I think that is enough to be going on for now.
All the best.
Ray

Does anybody know which input languages comes with the US version of the phone?
I have read some comments that some phones come only with english T9 prediction. I am interested in spanish T9 prediction too.
If somebody has bough one of these phones at nokiausa.com, I will be very grateful if somebody can tell me about T9 languages.
I am not interested in the user interface language. It can be english, I am only interested in T9 prediction.

Pre-historic, 10 Mar 2011The products we buy should be worth the money we're spendin... moreIt's a free world out there my friend. And apparently there are still (many) people that like Symbian and Nokia. When the perfect phone will appear no matter what brand or OS I will be the first to buy it no matter how much it will cost. Until then it is just a matter of needs, likes, opportunities.
Enjoy your Samsung Android phone. For now I still like and enjoy my N8 and N900

[deleted post]If you are not interested in nokia then better leave it, but don't try to misguide other people... I think you are one of the hard working salesman of samsung.... Don't use your tricks here.... Even i admit that android is better but symbian is still awesome... Its much faster than android in terms of UI, Multitasking and others... android is much better in UI... You said that ranking of nokia is low or interest is less who the hell said it to you???? just check out the daily interest N8 is No.2 it was No.1 for almost 1 year no phone of any manufacturer managed to do so but n8 did it.... see the daily interest column E7 is 2 while C3 is 3.. Now lets come to the ranking section.. http://www.gsmarena.com/stats.php3 Though samsung has got much better ratings... but still in interest column there are only nokia and sony ericsson mobiles and by interest in brand also nokia is no.1 samsung is 3... Now say who is better?????? Nokia is going to launch Windows phone 7 which will F*** Samsung android phones... you be prepare for it.. Best of luck

The products we buy should be worth the money we're spending, isn't it? Who among you did not have any problems with Nokia phones? I guess we never just learn lessons from the past. It's a new generation now, its ANDROID, its better be SAMSUNG

i love using a mouse and keyboard . And plug it to my screen . It has more features then a iphone . I can view content from other smartphones or usb key or other device . I loaded my friend mp3 player strait with usb on the go . Its a pc . Who ever has problem with it there is a solution if you still dont like the device you will never be satisfied and you must use less features

camera is excellent, size is optimal, perfect in hand. instead of 3.5", 3.7" would be good if it was possible with the same size. it runs quitely without creating any problem. thanks for the camera again.
