hi just want to ask if anybody had tried uninstalling an application before. Like in my case i tried to uninstall kaspersky mobile security but it required a password or something, and i don't know what it is. thanks.

You want to cover up the purple screen problem? Let rcda post his experience about his screen defect. It serves as a warning so that potential buyers will be aware of the purple defect. I would rather have the public aware of the purple screen defect of some N8s so that they will pick a unit without the purple screen.

So,any complaints won't be read by Nokia officials,don't you know where to write? there's a Nokia official blog to write their blogs,not only for RCDA but or other noobs too,this isn't a place for your complaints cos it won't be read nor reported. you all should go write there(nokia support blog). Really I am soooo fed up off seeing N8 noobs around on this fan page.

I don't know why but my n8 heats up heavily whenever I download any file or do voice chat.Did anyone else face the same problem?My n8 is manufactured in China.

i would only put on vivid mode if its necessary
just to be clear, at geekify:
Installation steps:
1. Remove all mods (v2.00, v2.20, HyperX etc.) Download the mods
2. Sign the . sis with your own cert.
3. Run the signed . sis.
4. Select the mods that you like to install.
5. REBOOT the phone.
how do i sign the .sis? and run it?
sorry, ima big noob at this kind of stuff, im going to download the link and see if i can figure it out

looks like ... moredon't worry, the glass piece covering the lens is resistant to scratches. Anyways it is not the real lens. The actual lens is beneath that glass so you can safely remove the plastic lens protector
For vivid mode, it produces over saturated colors which are far from natural. Although it looks pleasant to the eyes but also leads to loss of fine detail due to high contrast

Guys all i can see only one guys is going on crying abt his screen on N8..weird..my fone is frm 1st lot and works perfect....it did restart some times tats it...my fone is perfect....best fone ever..i wld tell everyone to buy one....guy i think dis guy is a spammer...dnt trust him...
