its very sad news that nokia ceo has cancelled nokia n9 meego based handset...i think so nokia will go down this year very badly bcoz they also announced nokia e7 will be their flagship of the year and everyone knows that e7 has nothing new its just duplicate of n8 and camera is also 8mp..so nokia is not doing anything this year and rest all knows that other brands have already decided to launch their products this year so nokia best of luck hope u will come back next yaer with something new which will wipe out all others./

M... moreYeah Your Right, Nokia make a wrong decision, No one Windows Phone can be hit a million sold out, because Windows phone is not stable not friendly user, But it said Nokia Symbian is only sideline now, And its hurt to hear that QT update for symbian will be canceled and by the year 2012 symbian will be dropout, WindowsPhone i will not support that, i hate windowsphone due to program is always restarting, always all imporatnt files corrupted and you need to flash and flash again and again.. Sorry Nokia This is My Last Nokia Phone N8 is the best but symbian and QT update will be canceled and you will be symbian dropout for year2012....

Nokia has become a victim of Microsoft's strategic plan.
Microsoft got the ultimate benefit of having a ex-microsoft employee in nokia.
Microsoft will gain everything from this but nokia is going to lose more & more...

See this guys. By the way Nokia will NOT drop Symbian as some people said.

[deleted post]I totally agree with you! If they are late with Meego, then they will loose many Nokia fans! They also said that the E7 will be their most important device for this year! Oh go on Nokia! :-j

Nokia just sent usthe details abouttheir long-awaitedstrategy shift, and itis a bombshell. Theembattled number one cell phone manufacturer is adopting, wait for it...Windows Phone as its primarysmartphone platform. Symbian is not going away, there willbe legacy support for the 200 millionSymbian smartphones, and Nokiaintends to ship at least 150 millionmore Symbian handsets until thetransition fully takes place. As for MeeGo, Nokia will keep it a anopen-source mobile platform to tweakand experiment with, and there will beat least one device with the platformouted by the end of the year.
