rheanoy, 09 Feb 2011hello i just had my n8 the other day. i was wondering about... moreit depends on how you use or how often you use a phone. coz if you;re always using the phone especially if you're wifi is on you battery drain faster

i will neVer buy this phone, because its image quality is not upto the mark of n86's picture quality. The colours, clarity of n86's picture quality is just amazing. N8 can never match n86. Better luck next time N8 users.

Recently i updated my ovi suite to 3.0.0.290
Don't remember earlier version. Since the updated my phone(N8) whenever connects to ovi suite through cable, phone freezes/hangs.
Only way to get it back to normal working is i have to restart the phone.
Next, whenever i click on software update,it pops out following messege...

i m sure problem is with this ovi suite,how to fix it?

hi all. Been watching this forum since N8 was announced.
Now I finally bought one after waiting for the 1.1 update to be released.
I am keen to upate my phone but dont know how to
have tried to do it from Ovi on my laptop, Ovi on my N8, phone updater on my N8 and cant seem to find it.
I am from Sydney.
Can anyone help ?

pissed off, 09 Feb 2011i was typiing an sms on the n8 when suddenly it made some v... moreyou should have made backs of those precious pics since N8 has USB-OTG or uploaded them on flicker/pixelpipe.
Well, there are pc apps that help recover data though, if your n8 is revived.
1st batch n8 have problems.

HT, 08 Feb 2011Mostly I'd say people from philippine didn't do it properly... morei'm singaporean , i bought my N8 at 06 nov 10 from singtel ,unable to on power and send to nokia care on 30 dec 10 collect back on 17 jan 11 ,repeat issue on 31 jan 11 and send to nokia care again till now

Can you tell me from where have u got all the... moreMost of the apps u get from Ovi store...just visit the site and download them directly to ur PC or mobile.
Whatever way....mostly apps are free
As for games....simply try Google them with particular names and mentioning symbian 3....u get 'em all

i was typiing an sms on the n8 when suddenly it made some vibrarting sound n went dead. I cannot restart it. My babys six months worth of pics n videos are in them. I am so pissed. They tell me i cant retrieve the data.....help me anybody

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2011my country hasn't received over the air updates. is there a... moreDon't update on the air, do it on ovi suite it's safer; if you like challenges, google for tools to change your RM number or install a CFW (check the RM number first). Cheers.

GS, 08 Feb 2011Settings>Application Manager>Installed Apps>Quicko... morei have updated my OVI store today via ota can someone tell me the new version is it version 2.00.10025 or 2.04.0041 because in the pic provided it shows version 2.00.10025 but when i updated mine it shows now 2.04.0041
