Had SE k850i with both zenon and led. Found that the video led was only good for short distances while recording video. Still would have been nice on N8 but its not a severe loss. Remember night mode and other settings can lighten things up

sony ericsson satio the samsung w880 the samsung pixon they all have xenon flash plus led nokia know they customers like a all in one phone i love the n8 but if u look at the past the n82 xenon flash no video light now check the n8 again xenon flash no video light video light would of made the n8 complete nokia should know its a camera phone it should have both xenon flash plus video light who agrees with me i am a die hard nokia fan but nokia needs to make some improvements

can some one tell me y does nokia do this but xenon flash on a phonewith no led video light there r the best and nokia is known to make all in one phones y did there leaved out the led flash and there is enough space to but a video light on the n8 i am a nokia fan i c other phone brands have xenon plus led flash for video light y not nokia

Sg, 25 Jan 2011sometimes while playing big games like real golf my n8 says... moreMake sure your C/ and E/ memory isn't full give some space...Try to uninstall some apps...install your apps in external memory card...install netqin mguard to scan your phone it'll tell you if your phone had problem...don't forget to block some autostart apps...

It gives a bright flash for a blink of second. So if you try to keep it lighting, you can say goodbye to your N8 flash. Why don't you guys browse a bit more internet (I'm guessing you have a connection, as you posted your question here) and search to learn more before asking some stupid questions? Please, try to learn. I'm sorry if my words hurt you, but I'm telling you for your own good. Please learn about gadget if you intend to use one. Else, use a simple phone like Nokia 1208. Don't waste your money on a complex, but mini-computer, like Nokia N8-00.

GD, 25 Jan 2011After downloading the latest software a few days am having ... moreRestart the phone. Hold down power button for 8 seconds until the phone vibrates 3 times. The press it again to restart. Did you download 3rd party apps? Try removing the micro sd card if you have one. See if that makes a difference to the phone. A corrupt memory card causes lots of problems. If it makes at difference with the card out then try reformatting it using the file manager found under office in the applications folder.

After downloading the latest software a few days am having trouble putting the phone sleep mode?
Now the phone is lit up with lock key and I don't know how to make screen blank when not being used.
Please Help.

Anyone know when this new firmware update is coming? It was supposed to be Dec, then Jan and still nothing. Nokia India leaks about the update came to nothing!
