Anonymous, 29 Oct 2013@ android no matter bad things u siad abt this phone (N8),... morei know that ones open a time nokia n8 was good handset...because that time android was not born..but after android why go anyware its largest platfrom of the word in this time with milion of free apps..i feel bored with nokia no..only camera quality is good...and all other part laking....

      So what is the fate of we Symbian users? because I Love my N8.

      I stormed on an article online "Symbian Enthusiasts Petition For Release Of Source Code

      what does that mean? do we still have hope for the Symbian revival?

                Can We upgrade our Nokia N8 OS from Symbian to Window OS?
                I love this phone which is a mobile machine and cant loose it for anything. Wish Nokia/MS can do something about that so we can upgrade Our OS.
                Please can someone help me out with my question. is it visible to upgrade the OS from Symbian to Window?

                    I know about android os ( ginerbread, ics , jb) . . .but nokia n8 is my favourite one and it is my primary phone too.
                    every time when i see its pictures in my laptop i feel in love with nokia n8 !
                    it is a real camera phone with good design . one more point : n8 has enough free important apps for my daily wok.:)

                            Wrost mobile...limited app on Store..no new games only NFS,FIFA alredy played and feeling Bored...while i am looking to my Nokia N8 feeling throw out..no Live wallpaper,,no new screen saver,,low RAM,,music quality not very good..low volume,,small screen,,

                            Now i buy Android handset..its better then nokia bell...1 GB RAM,,Quard Core,,More then 1 million free apps...HD game(Temple Run,Nova 3 And many more)..Bettry backup good..dual sim..dual standby..and most amazing part price oh my GOD its only 8500 INR....WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!

                              line app is not working.....bulshit.....no free call/video calls....only whatsapp & wechat are working...very disapointing :(

                                Ahsan, 27 Oct 2013can we use its flash light as a torch?No, it's Xenon flash. It has to charge first and only lasts a millisecond. N8 doesn't have a LED flash, but there are apps where you can use the display as a torch (white screen, maximum brightness), and some where you can use the red autofocus light, but that's not too good.

                                    ravi, 27 Oct 2013it not support skype,viber etc .Hi Ravy, i dont know whether your phone is updated. Mine supports Viber and Whatsapp as well. Viber, Whatsapp and Skype are available in Nokia store for free.
                                    This handset is upgradeable to Nokia Belle via PC Suite. Making photo in the dark place( 2-3m) is very good because of Xenon flash. Surfing internet via UC browser is very fast !

                                      Roshan , 27 Oct 2013I am going to buy an n8 .. is it good for games of lumia 52... moreYa, its good for gaming too, as i have NFS shift full version, 3D & works too good. Doesnt lag at all. But the quality & variety of apps & games, which u'll find in 520 (Windows phone), would be missing in it. But stil, its a decent phone & games too are pretty nice.
