Dipto, 10 Jan 2011what is light leakage?? i thought u also got a perfect unit... moreThe light leakage is not much of a issue or a design flaw. is just cause by the thin (i assume) plastic used at the side where the menu key is placed. It is also only obvious if your in total darkness.

angel, 10 Jan 2011dear n8 lovers...is there a way to make n8 speak the words ... moreI guess if the application itself don't support voice pronunciation, then it is not easy to make the application itself speak the word for you.
Some other dictionary such as MsDict do have voice pronunciation. As well as N8's native dictionary.
There was once I tried to use python do speak the text I typed using the build-in speech file. (Tried it on my N85, I dunno if N8 have python support yet and I dunno if it will work that way.)
Alternatively, try Google Translate :D Since Symbian's browser support flash, it should play the pronunciation.

im a 100% SE fanatic. but when i already have a nokia n8, i can say that i really love this phone very much. b'coz base on my experience, the unit is excellent. i love the design, very slim, a little bit heavy but not too much. also, the UI or user interface is very nice and very responsive compared to satio that sometimes it doesn't respond when the UI touched. also, performance wise, the nokia n8 is really good. nice camera, nice video, nice sound compared to other model of nokia. for me, this nokia n8 is simply the best!!!

just got a N8 2 weeks back....amazing piece... great camera with a bright xenon flash, fast response amazing amoled screen wid good graphics and HD...thousands of homescreen editing options with many widgets. the only turn off is the speaker which is not very loud or clear as compared to other nokia phones like 5800 etc.

I want to get me the Nokia N8, Please advise if this would be a good buy or not. I am totally inlove with this phone but do not want to buy a cat in the sack. Can anyone advise that have handson exprience.

nokia need to bring some thing new and awsome to the table this old looking like symbain 3 i like the way how the sbh shell looks on the n8 eye candy and nokia needs to make the themes be able to move in the back ground without you usind animater 4 thats old and old looking this is 2011 not 2005
